What's changing?
The following Foxtel prices are changing from 1 September 2024:
Foxtel Plus is increasing by $3 per month
Foxtel Plus with Netflix packs (including Platinum Plus) are increasing by $5 per month
2024 Platinum with Netflix is increasing by $2 per month
Netflix Premium Add On is increasing by $1 per month.
When can I expect the updated monthly amount?
The new monthly amount will be charged on your billing date from 1 September 2024.
How does this affect me if I am on a contract?
Customers who entered into a commitment contract with Foxtel TV prior to the price change effective date of 1 September 2024, will not be impacted by the price change for their standard Foxtel package until the contract ends.
Existing customers who are not on a commitment contract with Foxtel TV will be charged the new package price from their first bill date on or after the price change effective date of 1 September 2024.
What will happen if I am receiving a discount offer currently?
New and existing customers receiving discount offers will continue to receive the discount offer on the new package amount for the duration of the offer period.

Why is the price changing?

How does this change affect me?
The price of the Foxtel Plus pack will increase by $3 per month. Foxtel Plus with Netflix will increase by $5 per month and Platinum Plus will increase by $5 per month.
Existing customers on 2024 Platinum with Netflix, will see an increase of $2 per month.
The cost of the Netflix Premium Add On is also increasing by $1 per month.
Customers who are impacted by the price increase will be notified by email or direct mail starting 1 August 2024.

This is a handy tool to check to see if your old Mobile Phone will be impacted by the impending shutdown of the Telstra 3G network.

If you or your family are a TELSTRA customer, all you need to do is send an SMS to the number 3498, wait, then press the number 3

You will get a response from TELSTRA stating whether your phone is impacted by the shutdown or if is still ok to use.

This is important info as some of the older phones will NOT be able to dial OOO in case of an emergency after the shutdown so it is vital to know what you can, or cant do.

Sharing this to remind you and/or your family to remain vigilante and aware with respect to these sophisticated scams. There are ways to quickly identify and spot the scam and Pat does a great job in explaining this for us. I know of one elderly customer who almost fell for it and that is already one person too many. For those of you who subscribe to the MY SAT service for your Satellite Italian, Greek and Arabic channels, the news surrounding the disruption to service over the last 3 weeks now is not good😞. It appears as though the satellite carrying this traffic has been compromised in some way and there is no clear date on when services will be restored. If you or any of your family / friends have been impacted by the outage, give me a call and I can assist you with alternative means to view your content whilst the service is being repaired.
