English Study Tip #1:
In the habit of memorising essays?? We know how annoying that can be! But your too anxious to write a whole essay on the spot right? We got a plan that allows you to memorise and create a perfectly moulded essay for the question that your school provides you!🎉
1) Create a general essay question at home (eg: how does Shakespeare portray the theme of “……”)
2) Create a perfect introduction paragraph to this generalised question
3) Memorise your intro paragraph (about 4 sentences)
4) Find 6-9 quotes & techniques for your body paragraphs (about 2-3 per paragraph)
5) Memorise the 6-9 quotes and techniques and create a brief but deep analysis which you can easily remember
This technique allows you to spend less time focussing on writing up an intro on exam day and gives you more time to go in depth in the body paragraphs! Science Study Tip #1:
Do you spend countless hours taking notes?
Maybe making sure every image is perfectly aligned? We have all been there!!
Here’s a study tip to save time and achieve more out of your study sessions!
Rather than creating your own notes, instead pick up the science textbook and have a pen and highlighter at hand. As you read through the textbook make sure you annotate and highlight parts that you believe are important.
This will save the time of having to write your own notes, but also the textbook goes more into depth allowing you to learn every single detail thereby improving your understanding 😃
Maths Study Tip #1:
So many people do the mistake of treating Maths like they would any other subject! Yes for science and history you can read notes but for maths we cannot stress the amount of times that students waste time reading notes. Our highly qualified tutors all state that the best way to prepare for a maths test is to practice practice practice. So next time you have a test coming up, don’t waste time reading notes, instead just get straight into the practice questions 🥳 All the best!!!
