Here's a story to tell the kids... turns out our 2 regular customers and big supporters of huong xua Bankstown have a connection to my father.

My father turns 76 years young this year and the lady in the photo was his high school teacher in Vietnam from back in the day 😃..

We started talking and she told me she used to teach in Vietnam.. and the school she used to teach at was right next door to our old house in Hanoi Vietnam.. it was a long shot but I asked a few questions and it turns out she was my dads teacher back in the day 😃

The 2 have been reunited after so many years and it was through their love of food that bought them together.

When my father started Huong Xua back in the day, he wanted to recreate food he had when he was a child.. food he couldn't find here in Australia back in the 90s... and now 2021 our family has 3 stores to share our experiences with everyone.. who knows where Huong Xua will take us next... one things is for sure, my father's vision for huong Xua will remain intact long after I am gone even..

So you see, food does bring people together... in more ways then you'd know...
