Hi All,

It is with sadness that I have to announce the closure of Jay's Place Cafe. We will not go into the reasons but walk away with our heads held high knowing we did our best during the toughest of times and made some life long friends. This isn't the end and Jay's Place will be back in the future at another location. Until then thank you all for your support. God bless and until we meet again take care.❤🙏

Hi everyone we have been a little quiet just keeping our heads down tryin to make it through the lockdown and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel but still seems like a bit to go until we are back on our feet.
Some exciting news, from next week we will be selling Harry's pies and hot dogs alongside the rest of our menu, which i will post up soon!
We are on uber eats, menulog and soon doordash so you can order too!!

Hi everyone we have made a temporary logo and tryin to go for the 50s diner look. Mama Jacqs is no more and we are now Jay's Place Cafe(named after my little one) I'm still trying to edit the page details so stay tuned for updates.l

Just a quick update... we are still open for business although it is very slow I am confident we will get through it. Our offer of food for those in need will always be our first priority no matter what.
There is also a name change on the way and we will be on menulog from tomorrow so we will be open til 10pm.

Good morning everyone as you are all aware the new restrictions will be tough for a lot of families and individuals. I bought mama jacqs cafe to use as a base to feed the homeless and families in need. Since I was a child mum would not let anyone who visited our house leave without a meal and now its my turn to do the same. If anyone knows of a person or family who is struggling or in need of a meal, our doors are open til 3pm Monday to Friday for them to come and take home a nice hot meal. Please spread the word around and hopefully we can beat this thing with a bit of love and kindness. God bless you all and take care😊🤗

Hi everyone Mama Jacqs is under new ownership!
We took over last Monday. The service will remain awesome but the menu will change. We are introducing more home cooked meals and will have stews and soups for these cold winter days. Even our meat pies will be made fresh with lots of different flavours. We are bringing in hand cut chips, the way they used to make back in the day wrapped in paper. The new menu is fun and will bring back memories of a time gone by. There are some big car shows planned and we hope we can raise some for those in need.
We hope you can come join us next time you're in the area.😊
