Chriselyn Salim, UTS College and UTS graduate delivered an alumnus speech to the Class of 2023 at the UTS College Graduation.
She shared her own learnings from her time at university and how a single hello can lead to friends, connections, and opportunities beyond what you ever imagined.

UTS Sport supports more than 300 elite athletes in over 45 sports every year, from state level players all the way to world champions. This program helps them manage their intense sport training and academic commitments at UTS.

Meet My. π
She's an international student from Vietnam who recently finished her UTS Foundation Studies at UTS College. And she was the co-winner of the Outstanding Graduate Prize β a cash award for achieving the highest grade-point average in her course.
Inspired by her dad, she's now studying a Diploma of Business, with plans to return to Vietnam and help with the family business after her studies.

The first students from the UTS College partnership with Premier University in Bangladesh arrived in Australia earlier this year, marking a milestone in the strong relationship between our countries! π
Foreign Ministers Penny Wong and Dr Hasan Mahmud celebrated over 50 years of diplomacy and emphasised the importance of education in our growing economic ties in a recent press conference in Dhaka.

Meet Clarice. π
She's an international student from Indonesia, one of our student ambassadors and a member of the Student Representative Group. She recently completed her Diploma of Information Technology at UTS College and is starting her Bachelor of Information Technology at UTS with a specialisation in interaction design.
She's already achieved so much taking on leadership positions in high school and at UTS College, inspired by her close-knit family, especially her father.
Clarice is still planning her future but is already excited by the possibilities; entrepreneurship, leadership, design, music, and more.

Applications for the UTS College to UTS Scholarship are now open! ππ
This scholarship was established by UTS to support the UTS College Pathway Program and support international students to succeed as they articulate to their UTS undergraduate degrees. The recipient scores 50% off their tuition fees (which is huge).
There is some criteria you have to meet and you do have to submit an application online. Applications close Friday 14 June.
