Introducing this weeks club of the week… ✨ UNSW Railway Society ✨
The UNSW Railway Society is a society for all rail fans or anyone who wants to learn more about trains and rail infrastructure. 🚂🚃 We are the first university based railway society in NSW!
We host events where we visit various rail lines, stations and museums, and of course, ride trains. We also have an active online community where members share their knowledge and discuss various rail systems from around the world. 🚄
2024 is a big year for RailSoc and rail in Sydney as a whole. It is only our first year of operation and already, at the recent opening of the Sydney Metro extension 🚇, we have been featured in IG Reels, YouTube and even a New York Times article! With the upcoming opening of the Parramatta Light Rail and the introduction of the NIFs there is still more to come!
