2 car assault for 2024! 🔥

After a huge off season, we’re pumped to get 2024 underway with Josh returning after winning his 5th APRA championship in 2023, and Jamie coming back after a year off.

A successful test this week for both cars on the new Yokohama control tyre, with both cars within half a tenth of each other consistently.

Round 1 is coming at Sydney Motorsport Park with Motor Racing Australia on the 3rd of February, so come and check out the action.

Mega morning out at SMSP today 👌

Josh laid down some decent laps in his first outing for the year on old rubber and young Ryan Tomsett Racing had his first drive at SMSP at only 14 years of age and lapped an impressive 1:53 lap time ! Looking forward to seeing his progress over the next 12 months as he does more laps 🔥

TC Racing is back to business for 2022 ! 🔰

While preparation is well underway for our first round of the APRA on 19/20th of February at Wakefield Park. We were lucky enough to spend a few days before Christmas at Wakefield Park with Trackschool Trackdays and the picture below says it all , it’s going to be a tough ask to muscle these 3 off the podium this year 🔥

Josh is taking back the wheel of the Ultimate Karting Sydney rig full time this year after a partial absence in what was a shortened few round championship in 2021 with minimal running across the season Josh used 2021 to build his business and is keen to take back the #1 and put it back where it should be 👌🏻

We also welcome back Jamie Craig to the drivers seat for season 2022 after a few years out of the seat and on the headset for Josh guiding him to the 2019 and 2020 championships , Jamie will now be Josh’s biggest rival thanks to Beaches Sea-Doo and Can-Am for the mega opportunity to jump back into the car.

Young Beau Pronesti impressed many last year on debut qualifying 3rd and running up the front that weekend, he has made some more progress since then and looking forward to a full season with the team .

Greg is looking forward to building on his momentum from last year now he is comfortable in the new #27 Townsend Signs machine and will be a real threat around the top 5 .

Ian has made a few chassis upgrades over the break and looking forward to taking it up to Greg for bragging rights in the #3 Townsend Signs entry.

Kerry is looking to make a competitive return this year after taking some time off last year to focus on house building .

BEACHES SEADOO 🤝 TC RACING

TC Racing is proud to announce a new partnership with Beaches Sea-Doo and Can-Am for 2022, in a bid to develop and re create another fast N14. The #39 will be run out of the TC Racing stable, with ‘Ludo’ / Jamie Craig back in the seat for the 2022 season.

This will be an exciting opportunity for Jamie to get back on the track and take the championship fight to car #1, as well as generating some great coverage for the Beaches Seadoo team coming into the summer season.

The team are planning on hitting the track in late December with Trackschool Trackdays in preparations for next years APRA - Australian Pulsar Racing Association Ltd Championship.

First race weekend post covid complete ✅

Enduro recap -
Just as the APRA field gridded up ready to go out the rain started drizzling which would make for an interesting 1 hour ahead .

Josh got a good start off the line and dragged down to turn 2 side by side before conceding the position on the outside of turn 3 before setting himself up through turn 4 and 5 to pull off an impressive fakie to then pass around the outside of turn 6 and take the lead coming through corporate hill 🔥

From there the rain started coming down and Josh being the pioneer out front in the changing conditions he maintained and 1.5 second gap for a few laps while he found the grippy parts of the extremely slippery track whilst 4-5 cars followed behind before Josh was comfortable with his lines and started pushing taking the gap out to 4-5 seconds.

As the rain kept coming down Josh then found himself in amongst some cars that had done their pit stops , unfortunately Josh made some unavoidable contact at turn 8 with Joycey after locking the brakes in a puddle and turning him into a spin .

As the pit stops we’re rolling through it then came Josh’s turn to pit towards the end of the pit window and a small timing issue in the pits ended up making our pit stop a few seconds early ultimately giving us a 5 lap penalty.

Josh then just put his head down and smashed out times anywhere from 2-4 seconds faster then anyone else on circuit untill he had to pull in for a pit lane drive through for the contact which dropped us another 40 seconds behind the cars we were racing for position.

Josh again put his head down and smashed out super quick laps and reeled in a few of the front running cars in a couple of laps at a few seconds a lap faster 🔥

Ultimately ended up crossing the line after the 5 lap penalty in p9 with the fastest lap of the race by 6 tenths .

Overall positive weekend and good to get back in the car and give it a shake down post covid before hitting Challenge Bathurst in a few weeks .

Sprint race winner 💪🏼

Josh has made the perfect return to racing at Sydney Motorsport Park, capitalising on his pole position to lead the field, building a 2 second lead on the opening lap before managing the gap for the race. Young gun Beau Pronesti took his first podium with P3, showing excellent race pace. Greg Dufficy took P7, and Ian Joyce in P11.

Warmup is coming up soon, followed by the 1 hour enduro.

TC Racing Qualifying Domination 🔥

Josh Craig has taken pole position for the final round of the 2021 APRA - Australian Pulsar Racing Association Ltd Ltd season by a whopping 1.5 seconds! Young gun and series debutant Beau Pronesti has qualified an incredible 3rd position, less than a tenth behind 2nd.

Greg Dufficy in his brand new TC Racing built N14 has qualified a career best in 6th position, with good mate Ian Joyce in 14th position.

The sprint race will be underway in just over an hour, with the 1 hour enduro to follow at 9pm.

It’s awesome to be able to have these 2 in our lives not only as family and being able to guide us through life, but to be best mates and share our passion of racing together !

Back in the day spending our weekends travelling across the country side going karting was a cool way to grow up but now we are grown up, the last 5 years or so have been truly something special ! From building our very first pulsar together to Jamie and myself (Josh) getting our first drive in a race car, and then the amazing journey we have been on from our first race meeting. Our first top 10, first top 5, then our first top 3 and then that first win together at the enduros 2018! Now we have built or been a major part in building around 10 top notch racecars, something to be proud of, as well as our success with so many race wins, pole positions and 2 championships !

Couldn’t of achieved even half of what we have today without the determination, drive, skills, mentoring, time, effort and love these 2 guys give us !

Forever thankful and these memories, will definitely be something to look back on over the years !

Can’t wait to get back on track soon !

Yesterday we took to Sydney Motorsport Park for Round 4 of the APRA - Australian Pulsar Racing Association Ltd championship. It was a chilly start to the morning and by qauli at 9am it was still in single digits 🥶

Qauli went well for the #1 Ultimate Karting Sydney / Trackschool Trackdays rig doing our best ever time in qauli at SMSP with a 1:49.9! But unfortunately that was only good enough for p3 with pole position a super fast 1:49.4 😳

Race 1 saw Josh get a great start and after some intense dicing in the first few laps Josh got to the lead but eventually settling for 2nd position with the fastest lap .

Race 2 Josh got another awesome start from the outside and was able to take command of the lead into turn 1 and lead the opening few laps before coming under pressure from 2nd position and ending up 3rd with the fastest lap again .

Race 3 Josh got another blinding start and was right behind p1 going into turn 2 and was able to effect a pass on second position into turn 8 on the opening lap , but by that stage p1 had already gapped over 1.5 seconds and was able to drive away with Josh having to settle for 2nd position.

Overall not the best weekend but still not our worst when you consider we were never outside the top 3 all weekend and ended up 3rd for the round after rolling the car out of the truck with no testing since last round 🤙🏻

Amazing year this year in what would be the toughest most unpredictable years with COVID reeking havoc across the globe. It changed up our racing season every event we went too whether it be the differing races and schedules or supply of tyres from across the other side of the globe but we got there in the end thanks to APRA - Australian Pulsar Racing Association Ltd and MRF Tyres for making this season all possible . Also thanks to the BLEND LINE TV team for the mega coverage over most of our rounds this year including the last one this weekend !

This year consisted of 6 rounds with a total of 16 races . Josh managed to chalk up an amazing tally !

3 x pole positions
12 x front row starts
9 x race wins
3 x 2nd placings
1 x 3rd placing
1 x 4th placing
1 x 5th placing
1 x 6th placing

The competition in this awesome catergory keeps getting more and more intense with 50 odd cars entering each round and more and more drivers breaking into the top 5 making it sometimes a group of 10 plus cars in the lead pack battling for podiums !

Can’t thank the small family team we have enough , the 4 of us out in a lot of work and just work so well together as a group to achieve what we do ! Wouldn’t have it any other way !

2020 APRA - Australian Pulsar Racing Association Ltd champion! 🥇🏆

Mega day today with 2 x 30mins races .

Race 1 Josh Managed a 2nd place after an early lead , a safety car was called around 15 mins in and after that the tyres fell off a bit with pressures and had to settle for second place , extending the championship lead by another 15 points.

Race 2 Josh converted a great start off p2 and led into the first corner and ultimately led from lights to flag with an intense amount of pressure from 2nd place only 5 tenths behind. Another safety car was called about 15 minutes into the race and Josh managed to time the restart perfectly and build enough of a gap to not let anyone attack him in the first handful of laps .
