Early detection can make all the difference, that's why we're encouraging all women to perform a self-check regularly, stay breast aware and speak to their GP with any concerns.

Do you know the signs to look out for? Here are some early signs and symptoms you should be aware of:

A new lump or lumpiness in one breast
Changes in the size or shape of your breast
Ni**le changes, such as pain, inversion, or unusual discharge
Changes in the skin of the breast (redness or dimpling)
Unexplained ni**le discharge, especially if bloody
Persistent, unusual breast pain
