Getting started on repairing this big block that has had a rod let go.

Well it’s that time again, time for a $3500 oil change in our cylinder hone. Nothing but the best pit back in though, using sunnen honing oil. Expensive but very good product.

Here is a RB26 stroker we finished up not that long ago. Nitto rotating assembly, ARP studs through out, CNC ported head, +1mm stainless valves, CHE valve guides, DLC coated buckets, HKS Valcon cam kit. Should be more than enogh to handle the 800hp the customer wants at the tyres.

Early holden 308 we finished up last week. Stroked to 355, L34 heads hydraulic flat tappet cam, street terra rockers. Customer was after a nice cruiser with a bit of torque and didnt want to rev it to hard. engine made 380ft/lbs at 4,200 and 360hp at 5,700. Should be a great cruiser.

Here are a few thing we have been up to in the last few weeks, finished off a genuine walky engine for a resto, toyota 2zz rally short block finished up, tunnel bore and line honing of a ly6 for a blown street car, balancing and fitting mallory heavy metal to crankshaft we have done a torrington thrust bearing conversion on.

Here are a couple of engines we finished up late last year, a Nissan sr20 for improved production racing for Danny Castro, and a turbo 250 6 cylinder chev for a customer up at QLD, the chev need a lot work and modification to get all the parts to work but got it sorted. Looking at putting a lot of boost in this.

We recently had Josh JZ drop his 2jz engine in out of his 7.74 179.9mph street car for a quick check over. This thing is still wet sump with no baffle and bearings are mint. We will be upgrading to a baffled sump to help oil pressure drop of the line.
Credit to uni group for the tuning, absolutely spot on.

Credit to everyone involved with this build as it is the fastest IRS supra in the country at the moment.

Boys are getting spoiled today, roast pork rolls, chilli beef sausage and jalapeño and cheese on the new smoker. 👌

Haltech, your systems are unreal , have had the haltech system in for a few years now has saved the motors countless times and also with an awesome data log.
The new motor will be using the Nexus R5 Controlling and protecting the engine at every level.

New engine for Cody Barry’s 105mph boat engine we just finished, a big thanks to Damo and Mick at BG Engines for the engine dyno work. Can’t wait to see this on the water in the next week or so.
