SMAC award nominations close tomorrow at midday folks. We’ve had the most unexpected of years with what started as a one show a week idea for our our record store pretty quickly turned into something very different and we think, really, really magical.

Putting on shows 6-7 days a week in a converted butcher shop music venue that, along with more established independent artists we love, always prioritises granting a voice and a safe place to perform to emerging artists, is a lot of work (and very hard to make work). So if you’ve ever enjoyed a show at our place or like what we do, chuck us a vote.

First up are Brisbane based indie rock royalty playing with the always sonically incredible and . LINEUP.

If you don’t know Tape/Off’s Broadcast Park album, it’s one of the great indie guitar based records released this century. Seriously. I love these folks so much. Get in early. Will be busy.

More Brisbane based indie excellence for the matinee show Saturday arvo with playing alongside the always super rad and
(recipient of best name of the week award at a canter).

The driveway of dreams will be open early from 2 Saturday as the are playing Fremantle in the , we love the AFLW are doing want we can to help them carve out more of an audience in the community.

You especially should this Saturday as we’ve got a Pho The Girls all femme + non binary all night venue takeover. They are quite gloriously chill sessions and so so welcome to everyone, running from 6 to midnight. It’s a peerless four DJ lineup and we’ll have two outdoor areas as usual. So come, support their incredible collective, pop out to the DoD for a burger and a martini and maybe a bit of chill time before jumping back inside.

Sunday is a very important show. We’re humbled to be hosting the relaunch show for an extremely special charity dedicated to preventing sarcoma fatalities. Feat. the singular and incomparable , (feat. ) + .xiv .

Such an important cause and such a ridiculously exciting lineup. See you on the driveway.

First up tonight is a supreme collection of chamber/indie pop aesthetes from the likes of .underpants .mp3 . Miraculous lineup after late change.

Indie royalty wrap up their single tour on Saturday arvo alongside the always totally spectacular and the aptly named BIFFO.

The driveway of dreams will be open early from 2 Saturday as it’s also a swannies AFLW match day and we’ll be supporting them as usual because they’ve rad and we love the . Get to the game at Henson park and support the AFLW, then come hang at ours.

We’re then super privileged to have both and both up from Naarm carving off time from their busy south by commitments on Saturday night to jump on a super rad lineup alongside local soundscape dreamweavers . A total and completely ridiculious sonic f***n wondershow. Will be so so great.

Bringing it home on Sunday’s church service is Austria’s inimitable punksters playing alongside Lismore royalty (and the very exceptionally good) and local uberdupersuper legends .
