They say that “all good things must come to an end”, and it’s with heavy hearts that we announce that The Fold will open and close its doors for the last time on Friday 14th July.
It has been one crazy ride- deciding to open during the pandemic, bake sales, pop ups and dinners- and we’d like to thank each and every one of you who have supported us along the way. Fear not though, this isn’t goodbye! Come and visit us at our new restaurant& bar .syd in Surry Hills. Stay tuned and see you there!

KURUMBA BY THE FOLD TAKES OVER AT PS40! 🍸

Chef Augi, Chef Travin and Chef Jason have pulled out all the stops and put together a curated set menu celebrating their Sri Lankan heritage, reviving family recipes passed down over generations.

$65 gets you a set menu with favourites like braised Wagyu short rib pan rolls, smoked jackfruit tart, hand-stretched roti stuffed with mud crab, and a special PS40 cocktail on arrival.

Two seatings are available at 6pm or 8pm, so join us on Tuesday 7th or 14th Feb (Valentine’s Day) for an evening of fun, frivolity, and of course, cocktails as far as the eye can see.

Say hello to Krishane! 🧡

Krishane came on board as our Manager and is now an integral part of our team. Bringing a wealth of experience from his time as a menu consultant in the US, he has a double identity, playing the role of a chef by day, and looking after the front of house by night.

Krishane can't resist the Pol Roti with beef curry from our menu, but thinks the Kottu-Kottu is a must try dish for anyone trying Sri Lankan food for the first time.

Join us on 4th December for our last Lankan Crab Night of the year.
Feast on local mud crab coated in Augi's signature, fragrant curry base along with other Sri Lankan delicacies including savoury rice, eggplant moju, pol sambol and an exceptional brown sugar pavlova with kithul cream, tropical fruits, and mango passion fruit sorbet.
