Being able to experience pride in our identities is an integral part of how we interact with the World. And it's especially important when you're a young q***r, still figuring out where you belong.
The workshops offered through GENEXT x PRIDE aimed to provide a sense of belonging and kinship which is often missing in other youth spaces.

While Justine's workshop offered a way to dream bigger through dream journalling and scent distillation,
Zoe's workshop offered a way to show us we are strong enough to take on the world, we just need to picture it.
And Jamaica offered the runway to fulfill our desire to be authentic through the art of voguing.

Please come to our GENEXT x PRIDE Museum Takeover event this Saturday 4 of March to experience some of this magic and more.

Register for your free ticket now.

⚡️⚡️Meet GENEXT x PRIDE artist Justine Youssef⚡️⚡️
An artist living and working across Darug and Gadigal Country, Justine’s practice always begins with writing and dreaming. Their site-specific installations, video and scent works forge superstition into empirical worlds and embrace that which is warped through displacement.

Join us this Saturday 5 Nov at PHIVE Parramatta .ps for a free making workshop with Justine. Bookings essential. Link in bio. 💥
