Tonight at Palmer & Co DUSTY D take to the speakeasy stage.
Imagine the raunchy howl of soulful saxophones, gritty bluesy guitar, and thumping boogie-woogie piano.
Mix in the rambunctious, rhythms and riffs that gave birth to Rock 'n' Roll. Pioneered by artists such as Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, and Johnny “Guitar” Watson, this is Jump Blues: early Rock 'n' Roll, rowdy dance music, Rhythm and blues with a touch of Jazz and Soul. This is music for drinking hard, taking a gamble, and dancing dirty.
