We Are Fresco Creative. Fresco Creative is a full service creative agency that designs with purpose and feeling. Graphic Design, Web Design and Media Buying.
We aim to make life easier for our clients through collaboration and by gaining a deeper understanding of their needs. When working with Fresco you will be dealing directly with our co-founders and Directors, Louise Formosa and Triscia Ambrosini, along with the designer assigned to your project. The Fresco team will give you all the passion and experience they have acquired from having spent over
"Our team has reviewed the design concepts and we are really happy with what you and your team have come up with – it's fresh and new and visually appealing." Australian Federal Police
“Fresco worked with Teachers Mutual Bank Limited on the design and production of our annual report design. It was a pleasure to work with a team who were responsive, adaptive, and driven to deliver results. The finished product was excellent. As professionals that provide real outcomes, Fresco are to be highly recommended.” – Gillian, Head of Corporate Affairs, Teachers Mutual Bank Limited
Since 2013, we have worked very closely with NSW Police Legacy. As their graphic design studio, we have designed everything from Annual Reports to event collateral to fundraising programs and logo design for new initiatives. Our team work closely with the marketing manager to create meaningful creative for a vast array of communication collateral. We have also designed press advertising, brochure design, graphic panels, pull up banners, raffle posters and booklets, infographics, event and fundraising material, a company prospectus, strategic reports and a range of digital design elements.
“Fresco are completely brilliant at turning a rough brief into a shiny project. They get it. They deliver. And they’re professional, friendly, and fun to work with. What more could you want?” – Tim Sinclair, Media and Communications Coordinator, NSW Police Legacy
Whilst everyone in the design industry is watching the AI landscape carefully, after the recent inclusions of generative AI in Photoshop and Illustrator this year, we look ahead with optimism and curiosity. Every design agency wants to be better, smarter and more efficient. AI can certainly provide some solutions. Digitally-lead agencies may choose go down the path of creating their own AI software and AI-driven services, and they will benefit in the first phase against those who resell third-party software. However it's important to remember not to over-commit or jump too early as the predictions are still showing that media volume run by AI will only be a small percentage of the overall workload for a while yet.
SpeeDx approached Fresco Creative for help overhauling their website in the lead up to their launch in the USA. They identified that their primary users were diagnostic lab directors, clinicians, industry/academic and patients/general public. These users were finding it difficult to learn about the company and the topic of resistance-guided therapy – particularly disease areas and corresponding diagnostic products created by SpeeDx, available to patients. We developed a modern site with interactive pie charts and bar graphs to improve the UX and layering and animated sliders to add depth and movement to the design.
We improved the typographic hierarchy and reorganised the sitemap to reduce page length and simplify navigation. Rather than having a vast collection of disease/product types we introduced overview pages which grouped similar diseases by ‘type’ – such as Respiratory, STIs etc – to help users find what they were looking for and sub-divide their many disease areas. The issue of choosing imagery to represent diseases was addressed by showing the microscopic level of the diseases, rather than patients or symptoms. They also required geo-location triggers/page hiding for some products that were not available in the USA, which was successfully delivered. The site was well-received and deemed a vast improvement on their previous iteration, bringing them up to date and allowing the brand to hold their own in the competitive global arena of resistance guided therapy.
“Thanks for all the great work together and supporting us creating the new website, it looks amazing.” – Katalin, SpeeDx Diagnostics
The marketing and branding efforts of a not-for-profit organisation plays a critical part in the overall growth, message, achievement of mission and sustainability of the organisation and it almost always determines where people choose to donate their hard-earned money. Donations which have been made to help make a societal impact need to be allocated wisely, we understand NFPs need to be discerning about how best to spend this. Driving social change demands time and effort is spent with brand awareness and championing a unified team of people around a common goal. Fresco has years of experience working for NFPs and understands the importance of impactful strategic design that maximises marketing budgets.
Finding a way to express your NFP’s unique culture, goals, successes and even failures is crucial to success. Investment in branding is an investment in future success and NFP’s have a lot more at stake than your average organisation.

When it comes to Aged Care good branding offers so much more than just profits. With a decade of experience working with this industry, Fresco has created strategic branding that ensured a connection to both the resident and their families. Fresco has created campaigns that have inspired loyalty and trust and that has engaged, informed and supported its customers.
As with all industries an effective brand for Aged Care differentiates itself from its competitors, and highlights what it can offer that others in the industry do not. Communicating what specialist services are on offer that isn’t offered anywhere else combined with the years of experience and service in the care industry all build a brand persona that the customer can trust and depend on. Fresco can ensure your brand communicates the mission and values of your company and aims to align that vision with resident’s needs. We will ensure your branding connects to not only the mind but to the heart.
There are many reasons why branding and marketing for the healthcare industry is the cornerstone for success, but it’s important that a professional creative agency that is skilled and experienced is engaged to undertake this process with you. An agency with expertise in this field will be able to drill down into your core mission and values and be able to communicate this with a brand that has both relevance and longevity and they will understand what touch points will then be the most effective for your target market.
While the prevalence of image libraries has undeniably transformed the landscape of graphic design, proclaiming the death of the art of the photoshoot may be premature. Image libraries provide a vast pool of readily available, high-quality visuals that can save time and resources. However, they come with a trade-off - generic and often overused imagery that lacks the uniqueness and authenticity that a carefully crafted photoshoot can bring. The art of the photoshoot involves capturing the essence, style and brand identity of a subject in a way that’s impossible to replicate with stock images.
Not sure how best to advertise? Without an experienced media buying team, campaign development and a well-planned media schedule, businesses can miss the mark. Our experts can advise you on which publications, billboards, bus ads and shopping centre advertising will suit your brand and give it the best cut through. Fresco are one of the smallest Media Buying agencies in Sydney, allowing us amazing buying power without the significant overheads of a large advertising agency.
We can plan a year long advertising strategy that corresponds with key events and marketing initiatives on your calendar. Not only we buy media all over Sydney for a range of industries, we also design the ads for buses, plasma screens, shopping centres, airports, web banners, newspapers, magazines and even in-flight and industry magazines and journals.

Customers can smell a salesperson a mile away so building brand recognition and trust allows a sense of discovery. Being ‘found’ by a customer, means people are more likely to share and pass on the hot tip. What’s stronger that a personal referral?
Fresco has managed the day-to-day advertising design and media buying for Harris Farm, Tribeca Property Development, Kaplan Homes, SummitCare, BaptistCare, Mount St Benedict College, Oakhill College, Loreto Normanhurst, Heliflite, Bankstown Sports Club and the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL).
Fresco Creative have been working with Aliro Group since 2023, when a loyal client commenced work at the company. We have been assisting Aliro Group by designing their new Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. We take pride in ensuring all new collateral maintains brand consistency and adheres to the corporate guidelines.
“I think everything is looking fabulous, so thank you for your hard work on this. I’m really looking forward to rolling it out and delivering some training on the completed products.” Rachelle – Aliro Group
Your website is a valuable marketing tool. Think of it as employing a round-the-clock salesperson! Customers can find out about your services and products anytime the topic springs to mind, wherever they happen to be. It should explain your business, convey your ethos, appeal to your customers and be fast and easy-to-use.
Customers these days want to check you out quickly before they commit to handing over their hard earned cash – so a succinct and attractive site is everything. Keeping up with technology shows agility and innovation. People are increasingly web-savvy and can recognise an old, clunky website in a flash – they will leave in 2 seconds if it’s not in line with what they are expecting to see. A good website communicates your business honestly, stylishly and with minimal fuss.
Fresco designs and develops WordPress websites that you can manage yourself once it’s all set up. You can keep ongoing costs to a minimum but with the comfort of knowing that we can always be called upon for help when you need it … or if you want to add some bells and whistles down the track! We can jazz up an existing site or start afresh and set one up from scratch!
Fresco Creative has been designing websites for Sydney companies from a wide range of industries for years. With over 20 years’ in operation, we have seen websites evolve substantially over time and have a tried and tested approach to website design and development. We can guide the project from start to finish – we know what must be included and what should be left to the imagination. User experience (UX) and Accessibility (image tagging, contrast checking etc) is essential in planning a website and we will talk you through best practice and ensure your site is easy and enjoyable to navigate.
We are a small Sydney graphic design agency with low overheads which allows us to bill for the time it takes, not for the number of people in the room.
"Thank you for your support and your collaborative approach this year. It's really great working with you..." Elissa, Teachers Mutual Bank Limited
Utilising data-driven insights is paramount in optimising cross-platform advertising. Analysing consumer behaviour, preferences and interactions on different platforms provides valuable information for tailoring campaigns. By leveraging data analytics tools marketers can gain a deeper understanding of their audience and refine their strategies for improved performance across various platforms.
The Police Association of New South Wales (PANSW) represents the professional and industrial interests of approximately 16,500 members, covering all ranks of sworn police officers in NSW. PANSW protects and ensures member wages, working conditions, and the occupational health and safety of police officers in New South Wales. The Police Association of NSW came to Fresco Creative to assist with developing their brand. As an organisation that has been operating since 1920, the ongoing evolution of their emblems and logo has remained a priority over the years.
We have recently made some tweaks to the crest and acronym lockup an re-styled the masthead for their flagship magazine “Police News”.
We completed a comprehensive style guide, outlining all aspects of their brand and examples of usage to improve consistency across all collateral.
“The visual is an excellent explanation. Having the Crest tidied up is a very useful advance…” – Stephen, PANSW
Fresco Creative was approached by the prestigious Oakhill College for assistance with their Social Media strategy for Facebook and Instagram after an influx of followers during the COVID-19 pandemic. We helped the school organise their content while we developed concepts for branded instagram tiles. Once settled on a look and ideas for a series of post ‘types’ we prepared branded tiles to scatter through their instagram feed each month. We also processed and colour corrected small batches of their professionally photographed images and arranged to supply the school with these sets on an ad hoc basis to insert amongst the student/phone shots to lift the quality of photography across the feed.
“I just wanted to fill you in on the huge success of Open Day. We had 4380 register before the event. We had 6 Principals addresses planned (usually 3) and we had such big queues, we had to run 7. We had approximately 3,500-4,000 through the doors (1700 in previous years). Suffice to say we have extraordinary waiting lists in each year. Thanks again.” – Gabby, Oakhill College
Stockbrokers and Financial Advisers Association (SAFAA) is in the process of changing its name to Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association (SIAA) to better reflect the roles and responsibilities of their members. They wanted to distinguish their members from Financial Planners/Advisers and create a logo design that portrayed their key values of knowledge, expertise and professionalism. We came up with a concept that features an icon and typography and builds on the metaphor of radar. The teal wedge is representative of a radar scanning segment – say, an investment advisor or stockbroker looking for quality investment opportunities. The blue bands that overlap and extend beyond the teal wedge are symbolic of sound investments that have been identified by a professional stockbroker or investment adviser – highlighting the value and skill involved in identifying a worthwhile investment opportunity. The graphic can also be seen as a curved bar graph symbolising the role that stockbrokers and financial planners have in helping Australian business to grow and perform better each year. We set out to convey their knowledge, expertise and value in the icon and typography.
“The directors all love this final version. Thank you again for all your creative work — we have ended up with a logo that is fresh and contemporary, with a link to our history in the blue. It allows us to go forward with our new name and our new brand. And the new logo and brand really positions us well for this next chapter. It has been a pleasure working with you and I appreciate your creative and responsive professionalism.” – Judith, Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association
If your brand is looking a bit inconsistent it could be your Visual Identity. Maybe it’s a bit old and out-of-date, perhaps it’s awesome but no one knows where it’s kept, or maybe you don’t have one at all! It’s really important to get everyone on the same page and understanding the basics of the brand. We’re talking about fonts, colours, how small the logo can go, what kind of images to use, any wording to avoid and – primarily – how to use your brand assets in a consistent way across all your collateral.
The style guide is a window into the personality and vision of your brand. An effective Visual Style Guide will allow the brand to look consistent when it’s managed by multiple agencies and designers but also should allow enough flexibility for the designs to be creative and innovative and to evolve. You want your customer to instantly recognise your brand at a glance. Hot tip! Put a PowerPoint template in there as well so you never have to sit through an off-brand presentation with an eye-twitch!
Fresco Creative has been designing Corporate Identity documents for Sydney companies from a wide range of industries for years. With over 20 years’ experience, we have a tried and tested process in place to guide the project from start to finish – we know what must be included and what should be left to the imagination. We are a small Sydney graphic design agency with low overheads which allows us to understand all aspects of how a brand is used and provide guides that promote the creation of on-brand, high-end design work for all types of collateral – reports, stationery, banners, signage, vehicle graphics, glass decals, posters, flyers and anything else you can dream up to promote your business.
Accessibility in graphic design is a fundamental principle that emphasises creating designs that are inclusive and usable by individuals of all abilities. At its core, this practice ensures that information and communication are perceivable, operable and understandable for everyone. One crucial aspect of accessible graphic design is considering visual impairments. Us designers must prioritise legible fonts, appropriate colour contrast and alternative text for images, enabling individuals with visual disabilities to comprehend and engage with the content.

Gone are the days where the school’s librarian is also responsible for putting together the school’s yearbook, prospectus or advertising schedule. It has taken some time but most schools and centres for education now have a very clear awareness that to effectively market themselves and their achievements they must go way beyond traditional approaches.
Fresco’s experience in designing for the education sector offers a wealth of information and advice that in the long run not only offers tangible results but saves money in effective marketing. Whatever a school’s challenge, be it in advertising or branding, Fresco has the team resources and experience to help your marketing plans succeed.
"Thanks for a job well done." – Joe, Claudio's Quality Seafood
As a small but highly motivated team, we are super proud of our recent achievements having been appointed to the NSW State Government Design Panel and appointed to Federal Government Graphic Design and Branding Panel. Over the years we have had the opportunity to work with many different industries including local councils and Government authorities, which allowed us to understand not only some of the constraints, demands and but also the importance to provide security for Government data while being transparent within a Government body. We have the expertise in developing creative and engaging marketing material that strictly follows the brand guidelines of each council or Government agency.
We understand the importance and the benefits of the public sector having very strong branding in place to ensure all marketing material is created in a cohesive way and clearly delivers their messaging out into the community. The main function a government body has, is to inform and educate, ensuring that new regulations, rules, initiatives or activities are communicated effectively. Government departments need to be strategic about how they position themselves to strengthen the relationship with the public. Like any organisation in the private sector, developing branding and communication that reflects the vision of the department and connects with the public in a creative and authentic way is still mandatory no matter how restrictive brand guidelines are.
In 2023, Australian Impact Investments asked Fresco Creative to carry out a comprehensive rebrand of Australian Impact Investments – from creating a new logo to producing a style guide, website and new look for their report. We worked closely with key personnel to manage the process from start to finish, which included presenting the finished logo design to the whole company. This presentation took all staff on the creative journey from research phase to logo completion, and was received with great enthusiasm and positivity, much to the CEO’s delight. Hearing a full explanation of the new look, helped all team members, most of whom were investment analysts, to understand the new creative direction and equipped them to talk about it with curious clients and external agencies.
After completing the logo redesign and style sheet, we designed a responsive website with WordPress CMS, applying the new look in the process. We also set up a fresh version of the Impact Report in line with the new brand identity. The report concepting was well received and after full rollout, it was finalised with three rounds of checks.
The creative process that we use to create documents such as this, always results in a highly engaging end product that clearly and beautifully conveys the necessary information through imagery, colour, typography, tables, graphs and infographics. With careful planning, a solid brand and creativity, we can display information in a way that allows for easy navigation and maximum engagement.
“The Impact Report has been very well received – thank you again to Andrea and the team for all the hard work!” – Australian Impact Investments

Fresco Creative was approached by the prestigious Oakhill College for graphic design assistance with their 208 page school Yearbook. We helped the school organise their content while we developed concepts. Once settled on a look for the publication we processed and colour corrected all their imagery and arranged the content in clearly colour-coded sections. We designed special spreads for their school houses and also layouts for group photos of all the students. The yearbook was completed on time and on budget and received a positive reception from Oakhill families and staff alike. We then prepared comprehensive Visual Identity Guidelines so that everyone was on the same page and could replicate the look and feel of the brand consistently. We designed outdoor advertising, vinyl banners, stationery, email footers, powerpoint presentations and DL flyers. Oakhill use branded content on Instagram and we developed a marketing strategy for their Social Media.
“We just wanted to say thanks so much for your work on this yearbook, we have loved working on it with you all and am so happy with the design. We can’t wait to see it in print. We also thank you for your flexibility on the project, we are appreciative of your time and support to get the book just right.” – Gabby, Oakhill College

Founded by directors Triscia Ambrosini and Louise Formosa, Fresco Creative is a versatile agency offering a wide range of graphic design services, printing, web design, media buying and advertising. We believe that successful design is built through trust, flexibility and a strong and long-lasting relationship between studio and client. For over 18 years we've created award-winning, bespoke designs. We can lead you through all stages of your graphic design project, from brief and that first idea through to implementation and even help plan your marketing strategy and brand positioning. We can build brands up from the ground and repair old brands that have lost their way or stagnated.
