SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS ANNOUNCED!
Love it or hate it, NAPLAN provides teachers with lots of useful information about their students and guides their teaching practice.
We will be running workshops in Sylvania to help boost your child's confidence in the NAPLAN examinations. Please see dates below and contact us if you are interested!

When you know all the hard work is worth it! What a lovely email to receive from one of our new families:

I just wanted to mention, how excited & happy Christian has been with the 2 x Session he has had!!! He is even bragging about it to his friends as I overheard him talking to his BFF on
Friday on the way to school…saying how much Fun it was…and that he should come too…!!! He mentioned that he now knows how to tell the Time (on an analogue clock) and how easy it was to do so….well…he actually said that with confidence & such joy…and you know how happy that made me??? To see he was struggling and avoiding having to do it…what a difference….already!!!!

Thank you to those people who have made the effort to contact us regarding the error in our recently distributed flyers. Some of your messages have been rather humorous and have given us something to laugh about on an otherwise ordinary Monday. Rest assured, we do know our two times tables, and the error was in fact not there at the time the image was proofed. We will be taking this matter further with our printer as such as error is obviously less than desirable.

We have had a SUPER busy start to 2017. Welcome to all of our new families, some of which are joining us for the first time and other familiar faces we are glad to see returning. We cannot thank you enough for all of your referrals and personal recommendations! Thank you also for your patience while we get back to all of your messages, calls and emails. We get lots of positive feedback about our teachers, but this one was too good not to share! Well done to Sebastian for your hard work, and to Joanne for being such a wonderful and dedicated teacher!

"He has had an excellent year with maths. He is now ranked 18th out of 180 boys which means that he will be moved into the highest maths group for next year. This in turn will allow him to do advanced maths and 1 unit extension maths in year 11 if he wishes. Joanne has done a sensational job with him and I can't thank you guys enough. He's come from the bottom of the class in Year 5 to top 10% in 3 years. Wow!!!" - Sebastian's dad.

Happy children make great learners! One of the best parts of this job is having students run up to me and tell me how much they are looking forward to tutoring that week. (Yes, this actually does happen often!)
