While a new batch of Boss Ale bubbles away in its tank you won’t find us at the amazing local bars open this long weekend. We’ll instead be taking the opportunity to nurture our other love, taking part in the “Get Sanctioned EGGstravaganza” hosted by and , an international roller derby tournament running Friday though Sunday at the Dunc Gray Velodrome in Bass Hill! And because we want to look out for all of our Chaotic Queens we think it’s pretty fitting that we’ll be sponsoring the penalty box throughout the tournament 😉 Tickets available through the link in our bio!
Shhhh… we’ve got a little secret 🤭🤫 do you know what it is?
The second slide is a little hint… pop your guesses below! 👇
HAPPY IWD 2024!!!
Courtney here! Beer really is all about community, and we here at QoC HQ firmly subscribe to the philosophy of “you can’t be what you can’t see”. We aim to by living our ideals, declaring loudly and proudly that this incredible industry is here to both support and be enjoyed by anyone who fancies it. Be vibrant, be amazing, be yourself!
🚨 LOW STOCK ALERT 🚨
Looking to grab some Boss Ale before the festive Chaos officially kicks off? Head to these Inner West BWS stores (and others we forgot to photograph 🙃) that we delivered to earlier this week! After this stock clears the Boss is putting on the vacation/out-of-office email and won’t be turning it back on until mid-January. The Boss will return from vacation before you know it, but until then keep asking for us in your locals for when stock is back, rested and rejuvenated (rocking some new work threads 😉)
live starts now, come grab a $10 can of Boss Ale and pay what you can to support live music in Sydney
Courtney explains roller derby and Queens of Chaos’ involvement in Sydney Roller Derby League No Place Like Home event Saturday November 18 at Sydney Boys High
Perfect afternoon to people watch and have a nibble Lazy Thinking

Last but not least in our meet the team, the real heroes of this business, Huckleberry and Nimbus. These two furry workers keep everything and everyone in check, in between naps and play time. They may not be the best at their jobs, but they do offer lots of moral support by way of lap snuggles after a day on the tools.
Today’s introduction is Justin, The Hand of The Queen.
He loves sports that come with a dose of risk, whether his feet are bound to a board or laced into wheelie shoes. And he wasn’t angry, just disappointed, when you all failed to push “The Song Formerly Known As” into the No. 1 spot of the 1998 Hottest 100 re-vote a few years back.
He’s best kept in cool, dry conditions, and don’t let him catch you turning your nose up at someone because they dared to enjoy the Star Wars prequels (they’re bad, but you like what you like!). If you really want to confuse and befuddle him, sling him a follow at 😜
Time to meet the team behind the Queens, you’ve seen a few sneak peaks of us as we’ve taken over but now’s the time to really start to get to know us.
Starting with the boss herself, Courtney.
An avid 90’s boy band lover, weight lifter, who doesn’t mind when it rains on her parade. Don’t come near her with apricots or try to get her outside during winter, and make sure there’s always some music playing.
If you ever have to order for this queen pick a sour, any sour, you can’t go wrong.
These beauties have been delivered to stores around the Inner West just in time for what is shaping up to be a cracking weekend! If you don’t see our cans on a shelf at your local don’t be shy about asking them to order some for you 😉
Not our beers, but too good not to hype!
One of the Chaotic Duo just returned from a trip across the Ditch, where they got to taste some of the awesome beers coming out of Wānaka. If you find yourself in Central Otago you MUST hit up Rhyme X Reason Brewery , b.effect brewing company and Ground Up Brewing for both the quality of the beers and the hospitality of their taproom staff. But be warned, you’ll definitely tap out your allowance for the return flight!
We might be biased but has hit it out of the park with this menu, get your butt into a seat, listen to some Australian indie music and have a nibble
While one of us pounds the pavement in Sydney, the other half of the team is checking out what Jindabyne has to offer. These warmer days in Sydney are just perfect for a Boss Ale in the sun. Comment below your favourite local and we will add them to our growing list of places to chat with
Haven’t found your spot to watch the game tonight? Jim’s literary strung together a viewing grab a chair, a beer or two and some snacks as we all cheer on the amazing
Sydney might be mild right now, but we know our Queens love a little vacation. If it’s a quick getaway to the snow in Victoria and NSW or you’re planning an overseas Northern Hemisphere jaunt for Christmas, you’ll look fabulous and won’t get lost in the crowd with your Queens of Chaos toque *cough* beanie *cough* head to the link in bio and get yours today, before this limited run sells out.
We know the website and online store have just been relaunched, but we had booked a little trip long before we embarked on this journey 😊 Team Chaos is off to the snow this weekend, so any orders placed between now and Monday night *that require shipping* will be processed on Tuesday.
Orders for local pickup at Lazy Thinking will still be a go all weekend!
Thank you to the amazing folks who have so far jumped on our Unboozy sale! You’ve been such keen beans that our shipping provider threw a bit of a tizz and we’ve had to get creative with how we package some of your orders 😉
If you’d prefer to pick up your order from Lazy Thinking (officially opening THIS FRIDAY @ 5pm) we’ve now activated that option at the checkout (store link in bio). And while you’re hanging about we DARE YOU to resist pulling up a chair and ordering something from Jim’s AMAZING menu!
Looking for something FUN to fill your Sunday? Visit our friends at Sydney Roller Derby League today for the inaugural round of their new FUN DAYS tournament! You may even spot one of the Queens of Chaos team skating around 😉
We’ve loved sitting down in Lazy Thinking for their soft launch today, all of your favourite Queens beers are available when the doors officially swing open next Friday, the 28th
Don’t forget to pop on in to Lazy Thinking today for some cheeky pre-opening bevs! The blue door will be open until 6pm, and your friendly neighbourhood Queens of Chaos crew will also be loitering around to chat all things indie craft beer, with merch and $20 cases of Unboozy to boot!
Per our recent promising news: THE WEBSITE. IS. BACK. And to entice you to come on over and check out www.queensofchaos.com.au we’re having a sale on Unboozy! Yep, everyone’s favourite is going for $20 per case of 16. Why!? The best before date has *just* been exceeded, and we need to make space for another production run later this year without resorting to the diabolical act of sending the current stock (which still tastes bloody great) off to the big bottle shop in the sky.
We’ve also got a cheeky bit of new merch available, being our awesomely warm embroidered beanies! With the nighttime temps starting to bite, now’s a great time to keep your noggin fashionably toasty.
Cases will be available for direct shipping right now or local pickup from Lazy Thinking once open for regular trading from July 28.
Don’t forget to head down to Dulwich Hill THIS SATURDAY when Jim throws open the doors for a sneak peak at the bar from 1pm. Your new Queens of Chaos team will be loitering around, so come say hi!
While we’ve been a little quiet on the socials front we have still been working away behind the scenes! Keep an eye on the feeds, or your inbox if you’re subscribed to the mailing list, because some news approaches…
Crushing work on a school night
Here’s a sneak peak at our new winter warmers…
Four mates walk into a bar…
Hi, there! We’d like to introduce ourselves as we dive into the wonderful world of Queens of Chaos. We are Courtney and Justin, two roller derby playing beer tragics, and we will now be helming the brand as Chrissy and Jim move on to their new adventures Chaotic Social and Lazy Thinking. We want to wish them both all the possible success in these exciting endeavours, as well as thank them from the bottom of our hearts for all of the time and guidance they have provided when entrusting us with this, the little beer brand that could.
So, what happens now for Queens of Chaos? Well it’s not going ANYWHERE. While are still getting our hands on the wheel we are incredibly excited to open a new chapter for the brand and get it on shelves, into fridges, and on taps around Sydney. There will be new beer releases coming in the future, but they’ll be sitting right next to the faves, Boss Ale and Pash Rash.
While we won’t have a stand at GABS this year we will be wandering around at this Friday night’s session, so come say hi and let us know what kind of Chaotic Queen you are!
