🎤📸 Tonight our C4 & Diploma Media students had the opportunity to cover an exciting collaboration between TAFE NSW Design Centre Enmore and Designer Rugs held at Cult Design with special guest and TAFE NSW alumni Greg Natale. The event was a huge success, we can wait to share more of the event footage and wonderful interviews our students conducted with each of the finalists and their teachers.

Excuse our absence while a certain *cough cough* virus has kept everyone in their nests, but we have NEWS! Our lovely student Jayden Lee is now working at Channel 9! 🤩👏💃🕺 We'll let him tell you his story in his own words:
"G’day All! I completed a Cert IV and Diploma in Screen and Media (Radio Broadcasting) in 2020 & 2021 at Ultimo TAFE.
Since the start of 2021 I’ve been volunteering at Community Radio station SWR 99.9 FM 🎧
I studied at TAFE and volunteered at community radio in an attempt to get work in television production.
Since the start of this year I had 5 interviews at major Australian TV networks, all of those 5 being rejected 🙁 Not to mention the the fact that this year I’ve probably applied for in excess of 30 other jobs in media.
In early June I was offered another interview for a different job. This role I was successful for!
Just last week I started my first full time job in television production, working the Master Control Room at Channel 9 in North Sydney. I oversee all content that comes into the station from outside news crosses.
If you have a dream to work in a particular industry, work hard towards it. Have persistence And nothing can stop you!"

Wonderful student Pat Sunderland is the new producer for Sally Bryant's Breakfast Show at ABC Riverina 🤩💃🕺👏😍 Pat studied a Certificate 4 in Radio Broadcasting with us in Semester 1, and secured work experience in Orange at ABC Central West before he'd even finished his course 🔥🤓 We are SO thrilled for you, Pat - CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🥳💙
