UCapital International on LinkedIn: Secured Business Loan - The Underrated Cashflow Solution Why a secured business loan is a serious contender for your business financing needs. The article explains.
Are you aware of hidden fees?
When dealing with private funders, it's important to carefully review all the terms and conditions.
Some private funders offer a low rate but sneak in a 0.1 or 0.1% monthly fee.
To understand the implications of such fees, it's necessary to consider their compounding effect over time. When a monthly fee is applied, it compounds each month, which means that the actual cost of borrowing gradually increases.
Over the course of a loan or investment term, this seemingly small monthly fee can accumulate into a substantial sum, making the overall cost much higher than expected.

What is Non-Bank funding? Is it a viable alternative to traditional banking?
Non-bank funding refers to any type of financing that comes from sources other than traditional banks, such as private lenders, venture capitalists, crowdfunding platforms, and other financial institutions.
Non-bank funding can be a good alternative to bank funding because it often provides greater flexibility in terms of loan terms, interest rates, collateral requirements, and creditworthiness standards.
Non-bank funding also offers quicker access to capital and less stringent documentation requirements than bank financing. So if you need money urgently, with minimal red tape, private funding might just be the answer for you.
UCapital specialises in non-bank funding with lending partners nationwide. Let us help you get the best deal tailored to your unique situation.

Loan-to-value ratio (LVR) is a measure used to assess the risk of a loan. It is calculated by dividing the loan amount by the value of the property that is being used as collateral for the loan.
For example, if a person is applying for a to purchase a house that is worth $500,000 and they are borrowing $400,000, their LVR would be 80%. This means that the person has put down a 20% deposit and is borrowing the remaining 80% of the purchase price.
A lower LVR generally indicates a lower-risk loan, as the borrower has a greater stake in the property and is less likely to default on the loan. As a result, loans with lower LVRs typically have lower interest rates.
On the other hand, a high indicates a higher-risk loan, as the borrower has a smaller stake in the property. As a result, loans with high LVRs typically have higher interest rates.
A lot of brokers will try and push the LVR sky-high, meaning that if you have a property development worth a million dollars, they'll try and leverage you all the way to 80 or 85% of the value of your property.
At UCapital, the last thing we want is to put you in financial distress. We're here to give you money straight away and meet your needs, but at the same time not put you over that tipping edge.
We are very conscious of getting you into a solution with a clear exit!

Capitalized interest. What is it? How can borrowers benefit from it?
interest refers to the interest that is added to the principal balance of a loan or debt, rather than being paid out as it accrues. This means that the interest is "capitalized," or added to the loan balance.
One of the main benefits of capitalized interest is that it allows borrowers to postpone paying interest on their loans. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals or businesses who may be experiencing difficulties and are unable to make regular interest payments.
Another benefit of capitalized interest is that it can help to reduce the overall cost of borrowing. This is because capitalized interest is typically at a lower rate than the interest that would have been charged on unpaid interest. This means that borrowers can potentially save money in the long run by capitalizing their interest.
At UCapital we give our clients the opportunity to capitalize their interest to give them the breathing space they need to achieve their goals or get their affairs in order.
