🌱The ultimate vegan event (>70 stores!) is on this Saturday at Carriageworks. It’s only a few mins walk from Redfern station and it’s all under cover too.

Today is the 2nd most significant celebration in Chinese culture after Lunar New Year.

Traditionally, it is a time to show thanks for the generous harvest and wish for a good fortune in the subsequent year. People often celebrate this special occasion with eating Mooncakes, lighting lanterns and admiring the natural glow of the full moon.

We welcome you to come celebrate with us tonight at our restaurant, and finish your meal off with one of our batch crafted vegan Mooncakes (most you find in Asian grocers have salted egg yolk, dairy or even pork lard in some cases).

We have 2 baked variants: mixed nuts and seeds or red bean. Our frozen gluten free snowy Mooncakes are also a crowd favourite, if you prefer a soft mochi like textured
pastry with a mildly sweet mung bean centre filling.

The moon festival celebrations have well and truly begun for the year in major locations like
Cabramatta, Burwood, and Chinatown. Mooncakes are certainly a key part of the festivities, and we’ve got a very limited batch of housemade Snowy Mooncakes still.

For $39.9 you get a pretty cute assortment of naturally pastel coloured and lightly flavours mooncakes with alternate fillings of red bean or mung bean paste.

🥳Today, we're spreading joy in Sydney Vegan Market in Parramatta for the first time until 3pm, pop over and let's celebrate with a bite and some frozen delights to take home.

🧡 So sad, but true! 🧡 High winds and markets are not a fun vibe 🧡 and not very safe for stall holders and visitors, either!

It’s being held at the Parramatta Centenary Square from 9am - 3pm, and is super close to the train station and Westfield (for those who need free parking).

Thanks to the new Metro, it’s now so easy to get to our restaurant from the other end of town for dinner. Simply hop off Crows Nest station and walk 400m.🚈🥢

😃We are interested to understand if the rest of our Green Gourmet community can relate to one of our customers who is over the stress of meal planning, recipe doom scrolling for inspiration for high protein healthy vegan meals, and then converting them into long shopping lists, then needing to go shopping for everything, to then spend lots of time and energy cooking and washing up.

If getting 7-10 meals from us every week, made to order with at least 2 days notice, and the most you will pay is $18 per meal is of interest to you, we would love to hear more from you and any feedback you have.

We are in an exploratory phase of this concept, and we just want to make accessing high quality vegan food something from the every day not a luxury discretionary thing.
