Mosman parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Mosman, NSW, Australia. Mosman parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older
Thanks to everyone for joining us at Mosman parkrun this morning - 129 in total! Congrats to Joanne and Finn for your milestone runs. And a big thank you to Richard, Neal, Andrew, Jessie, Alex, Angela and Robyn for volunteering 😀
With a big thank you to our volunteers, we are all set for tomorrow morning. For anyone who may be visiting, reminder we start at 7am.
See you all tomorrow morning 😀☀️
We’d love to see you all at this beautiful spot on Saturday morning. To make that happen, we need a barcode scanner - please let us know if you can help out by messaging us or emailing at [email protected]
EDIT** Spot now filled, thanks to everyone who offered to help.

It’s as simple as this - if we don’t have a tailwalker we can’t go ahead with our event tomorrow. Tailwalker counts as a run and volunteer credit. Anyone that can help us out?
Happy New Year !
The crackers (and the photos) have been snapped and uploaded !
On New Year's Day 2024, we had at least 26 visitors out of 57 walkers and runners, one first time ever parkrunner, 2 personal bests and one spinning parkrunner !
The morning storm left a lot of water at the playground turn, and on the field, but all except the course setter managed to avoid wet feet !
Congratulations to all for setting your fastest run of 2024 so far (or commiserations on your slowest).
We are very grateful to the volunteers who made this event happen: Ruanne BRELL, Richard BROCK, Alex ERSKINE, Alan GARDE, Robyn LINDSAY, Aaron MOON, Orlaith SPOONER, Lorna TILDE-REYES, Schyler TKATCHEW, Angela TOLARI
Please check the Future volunteer roster for available positions so we can keep on running our runs !
Happy New Year to everyone connected to Mosman parkrun!!
New Year, new you? Why not give volunteering a go in 2024 and help us put on parkrun every Saturday. For those who have already volunteered and continue to do so, keep doing you 😊

Event #449 Christmas Day 2023
Photos part 1
Our core roles are filled for Saturday but we still need a timekeeper for Christmas Day. Can you help us out?
The kittens are wondering what happened to token numbers 42, 53, 62 and 63. Sadly our finish tokens are not souveniers as we need them each week. If you accidentally took any of these home with you on Saturday, please let us know and we can arrange for these to be returned, no questions asked.
It’s that time of year when we are reflecting and thinking about giving.
So reflect a little bit and give some time to us by volunteering on any of these days - 23rd, 25th, 30th Dec and 1 Jan - so we can give the gift of parkrun 😀
Thank you for joining us this morning and making this event so fun and memorable!
We’ve had 104 walkers and runners, 9 amazing volunteers (plus a bunch of people who jumped in and helped), 31 first timers (or first timers to Mosman) and 9 of you who achieved their PB.
It was lovely to have tourists from: London (Greenwich and Essex), Newie (Newcastle), Rooty hill and curl curl!
Last, but not least, thank you for choosing Mosman to complete your milestones and celebrate with us:
- Orlaith Spooner (50)
- David Dreyer (50)
- Katherine Oconnor (400)
- Ruanne Brell (v100)
- Josh Asigno (v25)
And what an amazing cake Aileen! There was nothing left ❤️
Join us tomorrow for a 7am start, hopefully finishing just before it gets hot!
We will be celebrating some Vvvery special milestones tomorrow. Two of our regular volunteers will reach their special numbers which gives them v125 when combined.
Are you celebrating anything special? Are you joining us as a tourist? Let us know!
Our elves aka Run Directors are busy over the next month, making sure everyone gets their physical, mental and social fix during this crazy season.
They however still need your help. We have plenty of gaps and need you to fill them.
Please comment below or email us, so you can join our merry roster!
Ho ho ho!
Dogs are awesome (check out the two handsome pups below) and are very welcome at Mosman parkrun.
If you are bringing your dog to walk, run or volunteer with you, there are a few rules from parkrun to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable:
• All dogs must be on a short hand held non-extendable lead (no waist harnesses)
• Only one dog per person please
• If participating with a pushchair, you can’t also bring your dog unfortunately and vice versa
These rules apply at Mosman parkrun, even though part of our course is in a dog off lead area. This is for the safety of all participants, including the dogs.
Any questions let us know and you can find more information on our course page: https://www.parkrun.com.au/mosman/course/
Still looking for a barcode scanner for this Saturday. Please let us know if you can volunteer. Thank you
We’re looking to fill a couple of our core roles this Saturday - barcode scanner and first timers welcome. Please let us know here or by email at [email protected] if you can help.
