Tiger eye cabuchon set into naked copper wire using Spherical Waves by Nicole Hanna with my own modifications.

Stone measures 1 inch x .5 inch (2.5 cm x 1.25ish cm).
Pendant measures 6 cm diameter
Project 3 of 5
Jet stone found by client's father and polished set into a sterling silver pendant of wire work, my own design.
Based on my Tequila Sunrise project. Black stone is much taller so I set it with lacier basket weave to keep weight and cost down. I love how the black stone in its bezel setting looks!
Stone is 4 cm x 3 cm at widest points.
Bottom beaded bead is made and I have twisted the wire for the bail. Just need to finish it up.
The first piece is finished. The largest stone I have ever set at 6 cm x 4 cm. A beautiful pieve of malachite.
Working a few projects for a client with stones from her father's mineral collection. First up a lovely huge malachite stone in sterling bezel setting. Work in progress shots
A modern take on vintage. I have the gold memory wire from my mother's costume jewellery stash. I love the idea but rarely wear gold metal.
Separately, when on vacation to various places I have sought out bead shops to buy those beautiful freshwater cultured potato pearls - many trips in last 10 years while with my parents.
So I recreated the gold bracelet in silver finish with beads that invoke great memories of family. The only challenge is I had to make it with beads on hand. Turns put I have way too many beads. (Is that a real thing?)
2 rounds of Memory wire with larger diameter, 6 freshwater pearls 10 x 15 mm, lots of base metal findings (curved tubes, weird blobs and pewter bead caps). I made the tassels out of base chain and cones I would never use normally anymore.
A new client with a lot of fun repairs, conversions and commission pieces.
The scope: 1 original fascinator that is gaudy, big, bouncy and slightly over the top.
Brass 2mm wire coil.
3 x 0.4mm shibuichi shim leaves (patina by heat treatment and lightly hammered for texture) soldered to work hardened stems of 1.25 copper wire
0.4mm copper wire to bind it all together
1 cheap metal black headband
Leaves measure 10 cm x 7 cm
Top leave bounces like crazy with little provocation.
Client is over the moon.
In full disclosure, I am the client this time.
Another brass squiggle shawl pin. 2.0 mm wire and lots of cathartic hammering. Fibular pin design.
Followed a great free tutorial to create a fancy shawl pin. Copper bare wire in 2.0mm, 0.7mm and 0.4mm and 1 bead.
Finished measurement is 3.5 in wide x 3 in high.
Modifications: scaled up in size, penanular pin, formed heart and soldered shut.

I like a little mystery in life, and hidden things in kinetic jewellery is just fun. A little sterling silver pendant created for the past owner of a shop called Robyn's Nest. Bird... Robin... Robyn....
Wing is made of reticulated silver I created, then cut to shape. bod is 1.25 mm stering silver wire shaped, soldered and hammered lightly. A "ruby" is bezel set hidden under the movable wing. Might be real, more likely reconstituted for the price I paid for it.
A lot of fun to make.
Overall size is approx 2.5 cm / 1 inch.
And sometimes we just have to get creative. I think I made this beetle for a challenge ages ago. Like a decade ago. It was supposed to go on a fancy pin and everything... which broke as I was in my very early lacking skills era. But what a hoot to come across this little guy again! Body is stuffed pillow made from pe**te. The wings are sewn/embroidered beads. A a little wire work for the antennae.
45 cm of seadie goodness! Necklace
I am a firm believer of NOT re-inventing the wheel. Making a necklace to match the Picasso green and brown seed bead bracelet. Used a great tutorial by Kelly of Off the Beaded Path for creating the toggle and clasp portion: https://youtu.be/8NeBwZddSqk
11/0 Toho seed beads Turquoise Picasso
15/00 Toho seed beads Turquoise Picasso

Part of a greater necklace project
I used to fight with tiny beads but seem to have made peacfe now.
Cuff 3 sizes picasso myuki beads in even pe**te with slide clasp.
Black is herringbone weave of 11/0s in a square shape supple necklace rope.
