NSW government announces fresh support for businesses The NSW government has announced a suite of support measures for SMEs as part of the Economic Recovery Strategy.

The move towards a debtor in control model will be a significant win for business. Allowing existing management to be in control in times of distress will result in many more businesses being able to reset and be restructured in a much more efficient and cost-effective way.

While the NSW government is considering our request, their focus is on 'getting people back to work and industries opened up in the safest possible way in the shortest time frame possible.' While there has been great coverage in the media so far, we encourage our members to have their voices heard.
