Meet Maria. She joined RT Health back in 1948 when her late husband, Arthur Albert Armstrong, worked on the railways.

Now, in 2023, she’s celebrating being a member for 75 years. A proud milestone.

Heidi the spoodle brings trains to a halt with peak-hour run on Sydney Harbour Bridge Heidi has “the energy of 45 puppies”, her relieved owner said, after the 10-year-old pooch notched up two laps of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

When tax season comes around, we’re often asked “So, is health insurance tax-deductible?”. While the short answer is no (you’re not able to claim your private health cover as a tax deduction), there are a couple of incentives and rebates that can impact the price you’ll need to pay.

They are:

- The Medicare Levy Surcharge (MLS), and
