A week without UBL games is the perfect chance for us to look back at some of our top performances from our last home games💪

UBL DOUBLE HEADER RESULTS🏀

Our UBL men and women took to their home court for the first time this season in an epic doubler header against UTS and RMIT💪

Despite our best efforts UTS came away victorious in both games on Tuesday. Our girls showed what they are capable of on Wednesday taking down RMIT, while the boys went down giving it their all💛🖤

Excited for our next games on the 16th and 17th of April, where we will be challenging two mighty Victorian teams! Bring on Melbourne🤩

Term 1 3x3 Social Comp🏀

Looking to get some 3v3 action ASAP? Well come play in our term 1 social tournament held in partnership with The U League🗓️

Both our men’s and women’s teams came up against extremely talented USYD teams. Whilst both teams were challenged and showed great resilience in tough matches, unfortunately USYD came out on top in both games.

🏀🏀🏀 The University Basketball League is an 11-week round robin competition in which UNSW will compete in against other elite Australian universities during Term 1. The UBL is the offical UniSport Elite Basketball Competition. 2024 is UNSW’s inaugural year so we’re super excited for what is to come!

Can’t believe 2023 is nearly over!! What a year it’s been 🤩🤩

November will wrap up our Learn2Play, SHECAN and Social scrimmages sessions for the year, so come along to make the most of the last 2023 sessions!!

Advanced scrimmage continues into December for 3 more sessions until we break for summer!! 🌞☀️🏖️🐚

This sends our womens onto playoffs for 9th-12th place!!

Unfortunately with the nature of smaller pool sizes, our men’s move onto Div 2 playoffs, but are still in the contest for some shiny div 2 medallions 🥇🥈🥉 WOOP

Love our sunday Social Sessions but wish they were full court? We have your answer ✨ AND ITS FREE

UNSW bball club Partners will be running the UNSW League: a social mixed competition starting in Term 3, so in the lead up to the competition we’ll be hosting a casual scrimmage for unsw students & peeps interested in playing in the comp!

The scrimmages will run 4.30pm-6pm on the following Sunday’s:

🏀 6th August
🏀 13th August
🏀 20th August
🏀 27th August

All at the Heffron Centre, Maroubra

💟 These are casual MIXED scrimmages, so where possible there need to be at least 2 females per side on the court :)
