Hello there folks.
Just a little message to let you know that I will be unavailable for a little while, I’m not sure just how long.
Sadly, We lost my Dad on Saturday morning suddenly.
So I’m taking some time out to step up and support my mother through this and some upcoming health concerns of hers.
My mum lives on a property where there is no mobile phone reception so I may not be able to receive calls or reply to txt messages for days at a time.

Saw this today… ohhh do I have some uses for my Blackberry bush. 🥰

Blackberry (Rubus villosus)

"Celtic lore says that blackberries are fairy fruit and may bring bad luck to people who eat them. Blackberries were also considered protective against earthbound spirits and vampires. It is said that if planted near the home, a vampire couldn't enter because he would obsessively count the berries and forget about the people inside". (1)

"The blackberry in England has a lot of folklore, each pointing to a common piece of wisdom. Blackberry was the bane of all evils, from misfortune to illness. It was used to release people and animals from illness, misfortune, and witchery. There are tales that the Devil was thrown out of Heaven and into a blackberry bush, and such avoids and hates them". (2)

A Witch's Whisk is a bundle of blackberry twigs, bound on one end, and lit to be used as a cleansing smoke. The bound end forms a handle. The unbound end sprays out, giving the appearance of a whisk.

"Cecil Williamson, a well-known English witch and the once owner of the Boscastle Witchcraft Museum wrote this about witch’s whisks:

‘Witch’s whisk made of dried out blackberry stems and with the end bound to form a handle. Here in the south west when a witch decides to make magic she first selects a spot or place where she will work, be the chosen place inside or out. The next thing to be done is that of cleansing the chosen spot of all evil forces. This is where the bundle of blackberry twigs comes in. She sets a light to the twigs and with them smouldering, burning and making smoke, she dances and weaves her way in and around and around over and over again. So this is one might call it: 'a witch’s devil scarer'." (3)

"Blackberry was considered to be sacred to some of the old Pagan deities of Europe, and was used in worship. To the present day, blackberry pies are baked on Lughnasadh (August 2) by some of the Wiccans in commemoration of the harvest.

A bramble bush that forms a natural arch is a great aid to magical healing. On a sunny day, crawl through the arch backward and then forward three times, going as nearly east to west as possible. This will cause boils, rheumatism, whooping cough, and even blackheads to disappear.

The blackberry leaves were used in spells of wealth, as are the berries themselves, and the vines are protective if grown.

The blackberry plant is also used to heal scalds by dipping nine blackberry leaves in spring water and then laying them against the wound gently, while saying the following chant three times to each leaf (27 times in all):

'Three ladies came from the east,
One with fire and two with frost.
Out with fire, in with frost.'

This is an old invocation to Brigit, the ancient Celtic Goddess of poetry, healing, and smithcraft.

Time to start working on some spooky themed offerings

Hmmm, just sitting here pondering what I shall create as an offering next???
Keep an eye open for lead light/felt sun catchers coming to the store soon, there will be some straight up glass pieces like this little one, along with some composite ones of felt and glass, as well as some crystals, more as a talisman/ward type creation. Still stunning and pretty, but with a hint of magics thrown in.

Community service announcement 🤣

Luscious green smoothie for breakfast today: don’t let the slimy appearance put you off.
1 really ripe pear
1 small variety cucumber or 1/2 a large one.
1 cup brassica such as kale, frozen broccoli, spinach leaves (I use baby spinach for sweetness)
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger. A little less if you don’t quite like the heat it adds
1/4 ripe avocado, or 1/2 a small one.
1 teaspoon chia seeds
I cup of filtered water (or coconut water if you want some more sweetness. I prefer plain water)
Blitz it all up in a high speed blender or food processor. I add some ice as well to get it nice and cold.
Ive also added a tablespoon of tahini paste as my protein component and a tbsp of cacao powder for some energy. This is entirely optional. But I do recommend the addition of some kind of nut butter or munching a handful of nuts on the side if your having this exclusively as a meal… as I do.

Dragon warrior spirit doll, she’s been sitting with me for some time, I crafted her for someone in particular. But she hasn’t seemed finished. Just sat there looking at me telling me that she wasn’t quite done. It was her eye’s, funnily enough, she was made to assist her keeper to adjust to failing vision. I put her in my treatment room for a while to see what came to me, and it came yesterday. So I worked on her eyes tonight.
Now she has the right energy to go to her new home

Since 2.2.22 we have been evolving at a rapid rate, and on 22.2.22 this supercharged energy portal closes, signifying the ending of an old chapter and marking a magnificent new beginning in our lives.
During this gateway we have been reviewing and reassessing whatever has been limiting us and holding us back, and we are now ready to release old structures and programmes, press the reset button and enter a new timeline and reality.

Today is the last time we will experience the numerological vibration of the 2 sequence in our lifetime as there will not be another date with only 2’s in it for another 178 years. (0 does not carry a vibration in numerology).

This is an extremely rare day, as it is also the last time in our lifetime the same number will repeat 6 times on a date.
We are also in the midst of a series of palindrome dates, where the date is mirrored (reads the same forward and backward), and this occurs until 2-28-22. On 22:2:22 the date not only reads the same forward and backward but also when it is turned upside down.

Due to the dates being mirrored we can expect to receive instant manifestation of our intentions, thoughts, feelings and emotions, as the vibrations we are sending out will be mirrored back to us.
This means we may experience numerous synchronicities and serendipities, with many deja vu and magical moments, as whatever resonates with our vibration is finding its way to us.
We might also be having unusually vivid dreams that are so realistic we wake up feeling highly emotional and remembering every detail. This is the dreamworld sending subtle divine messages, so pay close attention to anything that particularly stands out.

Over the next few days we will be receiving continuous signs that show us how we are either consciously or subconsciously communicating and co-creating with the Universe at all times, and how the vibrations we send out are returned in the most mystical ways.

The number 2 relates to balance, harmony, friendship and relationships, and it brings positivity, so expect genuine connections to be renewed or strengthened during this time.
2 is a karmic number, so throughout this day it is possible to go experience many energy shifts as the old and stagnant energies clear away and our vibration elevates.

Energy shifts can feel volatile, and during this period, our minds and bodies can feel like they have temporarily “shut down.” This is for our own good as when we slow down we are in a far better position to receive energetic downloads that help with our transition.

We have also been experiencing solar storms recently which can magnify the current energy. Solar storms are also known to bring a shift in energy, and during these shifts we may experience any of the following:
Pressure headaches and general aches and pains, mainly in the stomach (solar plexus) area.
Feeling flushed, dizzy or nauseous. Intense hunger or thirst.
Difficulty focusing, confusion, temporary loss of memories, forgetting things, misplacing items, or a “foggy mind.”
Extreme fatigue, exhaustion, lack of energy, insomnia, disturbed sleep patterns, and intense dreams or nightmares.
Seemingly out-the-blue bouts of irritability, frustration, panic, sadness, nervousness, anger, worry, fear, grief, anxiety, stress, and overwhelm.
Heightened awareness, enhanced intuition, premonitions, insights that seem to appear out of nowhere.
Physiological symptoms may manifest, such as flu-like symptoms, ear ringing, or aches and pains.
Noticing synchronicities, i.e. certain number patterns reappearing.
More consciously aware of other people’s energy fields and highly sensitive to negativity, walking away from drama and conflict.
No longer needing to force anything, allowing what flows to flow freely, and letting what doesn’t flow fall away.
Wanting to spend time alone; introspection.
To ensure we resonate with this higher energy and that our vibration is raised, we can rest, take time from our busy schedules and do the following:
Drink plenty of filtered water (not tap water).
Take saltwater baths.
Meditate and remain aware of reoccurring thoughts and feelings.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol.
Spend time in nature.
Consume high-vibrational foods, such as fruits and vegetables.
Breathe deeply, forgive, release, and surrender.
Remain aware of reoccurring thoughts and feelings.
When possible, temporarily disconnect from technology, and anything that feels energetically toxic or draining.~
