What a fantastic weekend of Tennis. I played in Women's and Mixed Doubles at The West's Seniors Tennis Tournament 🎾 placing 3rd in the mixed doubles Sunday. Tennis is a challenging, social and fun sport. Love it 😀 😍 ❤️ 🎾 🎾🎾🎾 so much fun!

This was the sun greeting me at an altitude of 41,000 feet, 30minutes out from landing in Brisbane.
It's such a wonderful feeling coming home after being abroad. I love to travel, explore and experience different cultures, foods and places. Travelling certainly makes you appreciate what you have at home.
We truly are the lucky country. We have good quality running water, reliable electricity, descent roads, traffic control and easily accessible health services. I love Australia and I am proud to be an Aussie 🇦🇺 😍

Rome 😍
First stop The St Peter's Basillica Cathedral in the Vatican City. Climbed 551 steps to the top of the Dome. The views were spectacular. It was opened in the early 1600's, I could visibly see the wear marks in the steps and flooring where people had walked for centuries. Art works are always mindblowing in these Cathedrals. These buildings are gigantic.

Mt Vesuvius 🌋
It is still an active volcano. It's last eruption was in 1944.
The area surrounding the mountain is classed as a Red zone, which means it is illegal to live in that zone. However, there are people still inhabiting the area, growing grapes and producing delicious wine 🍷.
Tour companies are required to check in with the monitoring station before heading up to the walking path to the top of the crater.
I was grateful I had the opportunity to climb to the top and equally grateful it didn't erupt 😂
Mt Vesuvius is 1280m high, the walkway to the crater starts at 1070m. It's a steep 210m climb (over 1.6km). Worth the views and experience 😍

Sorrento part 2. Pompeii, our civilisation was based upon many from the days of Pompeii. When Mt Vesuvius erupted in 79AD it covered the city in 12m of ash at 350degC, destroying all life. The consequent earthquakes destroyed the city under the ash. Pompeii is approximately 2000 years old.

Next stop, Sorrento and the Almalfi Coast. It amazed me how the Italian's have utilised every available space on the side of the cliffs to harbour their community. The food was fantastic, water gorgeous, sunsets glorious, overall a very pretty place

Malta part 2. The lights if Valetta overlooking the harbour are mesmerising. The clearest and bluish water of Gozo is refreshing. The history of the Roman salt mines and the Turkish built fortresses is fascinating 😊

I am back from holidays and am super excited to share my adventures with you all.
I visited 5 countries in 2 weeks and flew about 36,000km and 43hours to get to my destinations. Brisbane- Dubai- Cypress - Malta - Naples - Rome - Vatican City - Dubai - Home.
First adventure was exploring Malta and the Island of Gozo. It had a very Middle Eastern / Mediterranean feel. The history, sights, water, food and hospitality were truly amazing. I have so many photos but have selected a few of my favourites. Hope you enjoy them.

Hi, my name is Jo Cotterall and I am the Remedial Massage Therapist for Massage Worx Townsville. I offer a different approach to Remedial Massage Therapy. My technique uses a combination of relaxation and deep tissue methods with some trigger point therapies, incorporating light to firm pressure. Offering a gentle and nurturing treatment approach to the body dysfunction presented. I do not believe in causing pain, the old saying "no pain no gain" does not exist in my treatment room. Mild discomfort can be felt when receiving a massage over tender areas, but at no time should you experience pain.
For each session I offer a free consultation, this is extra to your massage treatment time; of 15-20 minutes for initial visits and 10 to 15 minutes for follow up sessions. If you book for a 60 minute massage, I provide a full 60 minute massage with consultation and assessment separate to this. Please allow between 75 and 90 minutes for a 60 minute booking, between 105 and 120 minutes for a 90 minute booking.
Therapy sessions are conducted in a private, confidential, and professional treatment room. My treatment room has its own entrance/exit.
Private Health Fund rebates are available for clients with “extras” covering Remedial Massage Therapy for all Australian Health insurers, please check with your health fund for eligibility. In clinic claiming available through HealthPoint.
