Our Boys Opens Basketball Team recently travelled down south for the CDSQ Tournament! 🏀

The boys had a great time competing, and it would not have been possible without our sponsors!

Six IPC students took it upon themselves to enter the Townsville Classics Junior Volleyball Competition this weekend.

They played 7 games and emerged victorious from every one, becoming the Division 2 Year 12 and under boys Champions!!! 🏆

Keagan Van Aswegan was picked as MVP of the entire division. Well done boys!! 🏐

The UK Football Tour group has arrived safely and have been enjoying the sites of beautiful Paris ✈️

Our College Awards Ceremony is an important event in our College calendar - a time we celebrate the academic and special achievements of our young men.

🥇Marcus Carter took home first place, along with a special award in recognition of his skills.

🏅Gordon Keith and Blaine Roper received high commendations for their outstanding work.

✨Yesterday was a fantastic day for IPC at the Townsville Eisteddfod, showcasing our artistic excellence.
🥳 Congratulations to our talented Drama Club students for earning 🥈𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 🥈 with their entertaining adaptation of "Happy Death Day" in the Under 18 Group Drama category.
Under the direction of Mrs Kylie Tillack, the performance truly stood out for its creativity, energy and dark humour.
We’re incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication! 👏

✈️ Safe travels to the men heading off for the 𝐔𝐊 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 this morning!
Their jam-packed three week itinerary includes:
⚽ playing 6 games over two weeks;
🏃‍♂️ training at St George's Park;
🏨 visiting multiple cultural and historical sites, including Stonehenge, Menin Gate, Normandy Beach and Loch Ness (to name a few).

Last Friday, the IPC Aboriginal Dance Troupe was invited to perform at the Townsville Flexible Schools morning assembly. Students had the opportunity to share Culture and learn more about our Edmund Rice Brother school. We look forward to returning next term to share more Cultural practices and dance with staff and students ✨

Good luck to Ignatius Park College ahead of Thursday's Queensland Cricket State Secondary Schools Open Male Semi-Final against Rockhampton Grammar in Brisbane. If they win, the boys will play the Southern Conference champions on Friday morning.

During this term, Mrs D'Amico's Year 7 Food Tech class have been working hard in the IPC kitchen and, this morning, their family members were invited to a special morning tea to see what they've been up to 🍴
Students designed the menu, decorated their tables, and cooked and served the food - all part of their Term 3 Assessment.
The boys enjoyed working in the kitchen, and were keen to show off their new skills to their special guests 👨‍🍳

👉REMINDER👈 Our Child Protection Week Parent Information Seminar is tomorrow afternoon! The presentation, held by Detective Acting Sergeant Pater Bakker is such an important one, as we discuss all things around Child Protection.
