Harry returned today for his second Puppy Groom.

We have seen some cases of parvovirus recently in our hospital. Parvovirus is a deadly infection that can be caught by your puppy coming into contact with contaminated soil. It is spread from the faeces of infected animals.

🧐 What can you do?
💉 Vaccinate your puppy starting from 6 weeks of age, and follow veterinary advice for booster timeframes.
🚫 Be careful with risky areas- unvaccinated puppies shouldn't be touching the ground of sporting fields, dog parks or even the kerbside front lawn!

Harry had his first ever groom today. A puppy groom is just essential for the 'oodles' as they are regularly groomed throughout their lifetime and as a groomer would like the dog to have an enjoyable time at the groomers. So starting early and socialising them with the bath, blowdry, clippers, and scissors is what Harry and I did today. Combination of positive reinforcement and treats along with cuddles to start Harry off with his grooming journey. ✂️🙂
