A beautiful morning looking out over the Mount Clay State Forest ☀️

The shed to the bottom right houses our "Cafe girls" meaning their eggs head directly to the many cafes, restaurants, servos and eateries in the district while the other chicken caravan to the left of the image are our "Retail girls" meaning their eggs are predominantly packaged up in cartons for supermarkets and other retailers!

As to why we match flocks to different avenues?

Traceability!

This approach gives us very specific feedback on how the girls are travelling, so if ever there is an issue or a change in egg quality, we can narrow down on it very quickly.

Looking forward to many more sunrises like this, especially with a boho coffee in hand! ☕️
