A massive weekend of fixtures kicks off tomorrow as our Senior, Reserve and Under 18 Division 1 teams play in their final Home and Away fixture for the season. Our Under 18s kick off the action away to Spotswood while our Senior and Reserve teams travel to Caroline Springs, with the Senior game deciding the minor premiership.

Our Under 18 Division 2 team kick off their finals campaign on Sunday in an Elimination Final against Yarraville Seddon at Braybrook’s Pennell Reserve. We congratulate coach Steve Blake, his support staff and players on making finals and wish them the best of luck for their finals series.

Also on Sunday, we have three more junior Grand Finals all being held at Bayside College in Williamstown. All three Grand Finals will be played consecutively at the same venue allowing for all our members and supporters to turn Bayside black and yellow and support all three teams all day.

The Under 12 Girls begin the day against Albion, followed by the Under 14 Girls against Werribee Centrals. An incredible achievement for both Girls teams to make their respective Grand Finals in their inaugural years. Sunday’s action and the junior season culminates with our Under 14 Division 1 in their against Williamstown. All the best to all three teams as they battle to add more silverware to the trophy cabinets at Keogh Homes Oval!

4/4 home wins to finish off the year for our senior sides to finish off our home fixtures for season 2024. Along with two massive wins in the third week junior finals including our Under 12 Division 2 claiming the premiership and the Under 12 Girls advancing to this weekend’s Grand Final! 💛🖤

A big first quarter and five goals to Lachy Rainbow helped Werribee Districts to a 35-point win over Spotswood in Round 17 of Trade Institute of Victoria TIV Division 1 Men.

Sending our congratulations to current Under 18s player Rani Pavlidis who made his Western Jets debut in the Coates Talent League yesterday.

While the Jets unfortunately did not get the win, Rani played well kicking a goal and being named in the team’s best players on debut! 💛🖤

A big congratulations to our Under 12 Division 2 team who were crowned premiers this morning beating Altona in the Grand Final by 44 points.

We congratulate coach Andrew Acciarito, his assistant coaches, support staff and volunteers and all the players on a fantastic season and game today!

Join us at Keogh Homes Oval tomorrow for our final home games of the 2024 season. All four of our senior teams will be playing at home tomorrow as we come to the completion of another home and away campaign. Our Senior and Reserve teams will host Spotswood in the afternoon while in the morning Under 18 Division 2 play Caroline Springs followed by Under 18 Division tackling Hoppers Crossing.

On Sunday, the first of junior Grand Finals will be played with both our Under 12 Mixed teams playing back-to-back deciders at Braybrook’s Skinner Reserve while the Under 12 Girls will be in action at Point Cook for their chance to join our Under 14 Boys and Under 14 Girls in Grand Final’s next weekend.

Fantastic recognition for Senior coach, Chris Gilham who was featured in the Herald Sun’s top 15 suburban football coaches over the weekend.

Worthy recognition for Gillo who has certainly left his mark in local footy having been the Club’s senior coach since 2017 following previous stints coaching Geelong West-St Peter’s and Werribee Centrals!

A special day at Keogh Homes Oval yesterday which saw Obie Miller make his Senior debut as the 23rd man and Zak Busuttil awarded the Chris ‘Itsa’ Alabakis Medal.

We congratulate current Under 18s player Obie Miller on making his senior debut for the club in yesterday’s big win against Parkside. Not looking out of place at the level, Obie kicked 3 goals on debut.

The commutative medal named in honour of past player, Chris ‘Itsa’ Alabakis was awarded to Zak Busuttil for his best on ground performance in the Reserves!

Our second last senior home games of the season and the second round junior finals headline this weekends matches.

Join us tomorrow at Keogh Homes Oval for our annual Past Players and Officials Day as our senior and reserve teams take on Parkside at 12pm and 2:15pm. In the morning, it’s a top two clash between our Under 18 Division 1 side hosting Yarraville. Under 18 Division 2 are on the road at Point Cook Centrals tomorrow morning.

The action heats up on Sunday as we enter the second week of junior finals. With both Under 12 Mixed teams already in Grand Finals, our Under 14 Division 1 and Under 14 Girls will play for their chance to progress straight to Grand Finals in a fortnight’s tim. Under 14 Division 4 are playing for a spot in next weekend’s Grand Final and Under 12 girls are playing off for a preliminary final berth.

A very exciting weekend of matches begins tomorrow with our seniors and reserves facing local rivals Point Cook in the afternoon while in the morning Under 18 Division 1 are away to Altona and Under 18 Division 2 host West Footscray in a standalone game at Keogh Homes Oval.

On Sunday, the 2024 junior finals series begins for five of our six teams with both Under 12 Mixed, Under 12 Girls, Under 14 Girls and Under 14 Division 1 participating in Qualifying and Eliminations Finals. Under 14 Division 1 enjoy a weekend off after finishing as minor premiers.

We’re officially into the business end of the season with only five home and away games remaining in the senior fixture. Round 14 sees our Senior and Reserves sides away at Altona tomorrow at 12pm and 2:15pm while in the morning Under 18 Division 1 away to Newport.
