Merak is an S80 sailing from The Royal Yacht Club of Victoria in Melbourne Australia. We enjoy class racing on Port Phillip, competing in S80 State Championships, Club Races and the annual pilgramige to Geelong, called "The Festival of Sails.

As the sun goes down on Port Phillip Bay, the combined MYC / RQYS Merak Yachting team, finished a very close 2nd overall, in the S80 division in the 30th Australian Women's Keelboat Regatta - AWKR. The final day, in lighter breezes resulted in a nail biting finish! Congratulations to the team - great sailing, great teamwork. So good.
