NetSetGo Term 3, 2024 - Registrations are Now Open!

Our NetSetGo program for Term 3, 2024 is resuming on Friday, July 19, and is open for registrations.

The program is designed for children aged 5 to 9 who are interested in playing netball and want to develop their skills and meet new friends. Both girls and boys are welcome.

NetSetGo is an introductory program to netball where kids can learn and develop their fine motor skills. The participants will learn basic netball skills in a fun-filled environment with caring coaches.

When: Friday afternoons, 4pm - 4.45pm

Where: Williamstown Primary School Gym, Cecil Street, Williamstown

Fees: $144 for the term.

Registration fee includes a NetSetGo T-shirt and ball.

The featured speaker will be Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, one of Australia’s highest profile psychologists, author of 14 books, broadcaster and specialist in corporate mental health, families, parenting, children, adolescens and the use of technology for mental health.

Don’t forget the Bunnings BBQ is on this weekend , Sunday, July 30th at Altona Bunnings. The crew from the committee as well as our volunteers from the club will be there frying up the sausages so come along and support the club by buying a snag or two.

We are urgently looking for some volunteers to help out at our Bunnings BBQ at Altona on July 30th.

We would love it if some club members would be prepared to give up 1.5 hours on that Sunday to do a shift on the barbie.

This is an opportunity for players and teams to celebrate their achievements, for coaches and team managers to present some awards, and for parents/club members to come together to celebrate as a community.

There will be a formal awards presentation for all 14 teams, so please make sure you come along to support and represent your team.

Following the formalities, we invite everyone to enjoy an evening by the beach with new and old friends at the lovely Williamstown SLSC.

Bring along a picnic rug and/or some chairs along with some food and drinks.

This is also an opportunity for the WJNC Committee to introduce themselves to our members, put faces to the names, build relationships and work together to support our players and our community.

Tickets are free. When booking please confirm the number of people in the family attending and the name of your team.
