Introducing Dr Douglas!⁠

Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Dr Douglas Mckinlay graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2011. He became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2013. ⁠

Since moving to Australia Douglas has been working with d-spa since 2015 providing the highest standard of dental care. Douglas routinely attends courses to improve his knowledge and keep up to date with the latest treatments. ⁠
⁠
Douglas enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry and has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics and more complex restorative treatments which require multiple disciplines. He also has taken a post as lecturer in general dentistry with the University of Melbourne Dental School. This includes teaching theory and clinical demonstrating with undergraduate students.⁠

Douglas loves living in Melbourne and all it has to offer. He is a real foodie and enjoys exploring Melbourne’s restaurants. He keeps active by running, cycling, swimming and loves a round of golf.⁠
