Let me introduce myself to you - my name is Sheli Tsun and I am / Business Manager and Owner.

I have 2 beautiful boys; a French bulldog who’s full of personality; I love to play netball and go to the gym; I am also an Intimo consultant; and a loving wife.

In November, James and I will be celebrating 11 years in business and wow, what a journey we’ve been on. It’s such an honour to have accomplished what we have and we still have a huge smile on our faces despite the past couple years of covid.

I absolutely love what I do and building connections and long lasting relationships as this is my passion. I want you to know that when you work with us, I am available to meet with you monthly, quarterly, yearly… whatever your preference is. I’m only a phone call or email away.

We are a full service dental laboratory that focuses on making quality appliances.

From humble beginnings in South Melbourne to relocating to Windsor where we built our state of the art clinic and laboratory. We really are so appreciative for this journey we’ve embarked and we know dreams do come true!

10 years in business (happily Married + children) is a massive milestone that we don’t take for granted, especially after the past 18 months with covid.

Our plans and vision is still very clear but there are a few speed humps in the road now thanks to covid; however, by having talented and reliable staff around us and amazing clients, we know we can endure covid challenges and take Melbourne Smiles to the next stage in our plans.

We're looking for an experienced Dental Technician to work Full Time within our friendly, dynamic, passionate, fast growing company that's close to public transport, funky cafes and shops located in Windsor.

The Successful candidates will:

- Be responsible for constructing various appliances, such as full and partial dentures, relines, repairs, splints and plenty more
- Be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Show initiative and enjoy a fast paced laboratory
- Have the ability to meet tight deadlines with precision
- Strong attention to detail
- Opportunity to learn and grow within other areas
- CAD/CAM experience is a plus but can be trained

We are looking to hire within:
- Pros Department
- Crown & Bridge Department

Salary is negotiable based on the experience and skills of the individual.

Stage 4 lockdown begins tonight in Melbourne at midnight for the next 5 days. We are VERY hopeful that we will re-open on Thursday 18th February, 2021.

The ADA/ADPA will provide us with information soon as to what extent we won't be allowed to use machinery. We are very sorry for this inconvenience that this will cause your patients and clinic but please remember, we are in this together and we WILL get through it again.

What can we say about 2020... it's been such a roller coaster of emotions this year and we're so incredibly thankful and proud of where we have started to where we plan on finishing the year at.

Many stores around us have closed and this breaks our hearts. It's unusual times like this where you look around and appreciate the simple things in life. We're so grateful for our team, our dentists and simply being in such a wonderful dental industry where we can see love, drive, passion and dedication all around us.

The lead up to Christmas is always an intense time, then add being closed twice this year, then the backlog of dental appliances wanted and the past 3 months have been a wonderful blur.

Thank you and we're incredibly humbled xx 15 days til Christmas. Let's do this!
