UOW Rotaract recently took part in The World’s Greatest Shave!

Our lovely Community Service Officer generously cut off 30cm of her hair to raise money for the Leukemia Foundation. Where she managed to raise $641. Her hair will also go towards creating wigs for those who lose their hair for medical reasons.

We are very proud of meeting our donation goal.

The World’s Greatest Shave and the lunch following the event have both been postponed until the 30th of March 2024.

Today UoW Rotaract celebrates Wear It Purple Day!

This year’s theme is ‘Write Your Story’ so we have asked the team to tell us what Wear It Purple Day means to them.

We encourage everyone to be brave and live their truth. As a team, we put this into practice by encouraging a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.

Cupcake day 🧁
We will be outside out the library from 10am-3pm TOMORROW (Friday) selling yummy goodies to help raise money for the RSPCA and fight animal cruelty!! We would love if you could pop by or even donate a little to the link in our bio to help make the world a better place 🩷

What an amazing night! Thank you everyone for coming and spending it with us 🩷 The Changeover Ball at the Lagoon Seafood Restaurant was a beautiful way to step into the new year of Rotaract but also to raise some money for Doctors Without Borders 🌎 We hope to see you all again at our future events 😋
