For our 7 year wedding anniversary I thought I’d share a little insight into how ES Event Hire started ✨

When we got married, we realised just how hard it was to source beautiful items at a reasonable price. I had my heart set on beautiful sleek dark brown timber tables but everywhere seemed to only offer ‘rustic’ style timber tables.

So, I convinced hubby to help me make our own tables for 150 guests. They turned out perfect for our day, however they were made from thick sleepers and RIDICULOUSLY HEAVY. The fact they didn’t seem to be on offer anywhere else gave me the idea to start this business. Sadly, the tables we made for our wedding were not hire appropriate due to their weight.

One of my bridesmaids also loved everything wedding and helped me source and make so many things. So we came up with a plan together to start ES Event Hire. Our tables were not going to work for the business due to their weight so we started from scratch making tables and sourcing items. Sadly, Lauren who i had started ES with moved interstate and it was too difficult to continue working on it together. Lauren and I are still BBFs and hubby has been helping out from the start 💕
