Last night I attended a presentation of the NSW Branch of the Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd) by Alice Grundy titled ‘No, they can’t take that away from me: editing in a time of change.’ Alice spoke about her PhD and the challenges that artificial intelligence presents for editors. It was stimulating and thought provoking with some great references to follow up.
