CBGA-The KRF Center for Bangladesh and Global Affairs

On the canvas of history, the resplendent palette of Bangladesh unfurls on December 16th, a day ensconced in the collective memory of every Bengali as the lodestar of liberation. The KRF Center for Bangladesh and Global Affairs (CBGA) jubilantly observes this momentous day, admiring the architect behind our nation's genesis, the illustrious Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Father of the Nation.

As we revel in the radiance of our sovereign identity, we reflect upon the profound sacrifices of Bangabandhu that charted the course for our emancipation. His visionary ardor kindled the beacon of independence, galvanizing a nation to rise against tyranny and reclaim its manifest destiny.

December 16th is an orchestration of valor, tenacity, and triumph. It resonates with the bravery of those who dared to dream of a liberated Bangladesh and the selfless sacrifice of 3 million martyrs, 2 lakh women (whose dignities were violated), and people from all walks of life who laid down their lives for the cause. The international solidarity that echoed in support of Bangladesh’s struggle for freedom is also remembered, underscoring the interconnectedness of global humanity. And in unison, each contributed to the fruition of the nation's emancipation, a harmonious symphony that heralded the dawn of liberty.

The KRF Center for Bangladesh and Global Affairs (CBGA) organizes a Seminar on “Current Situation in Myanmar: An Uncertainty” on Sunday, 17 December 2023 at 04.00 pm at the CBGA Conference & Dialogue Room. Brig Gen (Retd) Hasan Md Shamsuddin, Lead Researcher for the Rohingya, Myanmar, and ASEAN Affairs (CBGA) the Keynote Speaker of the Seminar. Professor Dr. Delwar Hossain, Chair (Honorary), CBGA will preside over the Seminar.
