Bangladesh Labour Rules 2015 (Amendment Act 2022; S.R.O No. 284 Act/2022). Maternity Leave and Benefits Update: Please read below amendment in yellow mark:

বিধি৩৮। আরও শর্ত থাকে যে, প্রসব পূর্ববর্তী ৮ (আট) সপ্তাহের নির্ধারিত সময়ের পরে কোন মহিলা শ্রমিক সন্তান প্রসব করিলে উক্ত নির্ধারিত সময়ের পরবর্তী দিনসমূহ এই বিধির অধীন সমন্বয় করিতে হইবে।
৩৮ক। গর্ভপাতজনিত ছুটি।—— প্রসূতি কল্যাণ ছুটিতে যাইবার নির্ধারিত তারিখের পূর্বে কোন মহিলা শ্রমিকের গর্ভপাত ঘটিলে তিনি স্বাস্থ্যগত কারণে পরবর্তী ৪ (চার) সপ্তাহের ছুটি ভোগ করিতে পারিবেন এবং এইক্ষেত্রে উক্ত ছুটির জন্য মজুরি কর্তন করা যাইবে না বা অন্য কোন ছুটির সহিত সমন্বয় করা যাইবে না।
৩৯ক। প্রসূতিকল্যাণ সবিধা হিসাব।—(১) ধারা ৪৮ (২) অনুযায়ী প্রসূতিকল্যাণ সুবিধা হিসাব করার ক্ষেত্রে শ্রমিকের সর্বশেষ প্রাপ্ত মাসিক মোট মজুরিকে ২৬ দ্বারা ভাগ করিয়া ১ দিনের গড় মজুরি নির্ধারণ করিতে হইবে। (২) প্রতিষ্ঠানে ভবিষ্য তহবিলের বিধান থাকিলে প্রসূতিকল্যাণ সুবিধাভোগীর ভবিষ্য তহবিলে প্রদেয় চাঁদা তাহার প্রাপ্য সুবিধা হইতে আইনের বিধান অনুযায়ী কর্তন করিতে হইবে।
