galerie burster is pleased to present "IN BLOOM", Gary Schlingheider's third solo exhibition ✨

In doing so, he experiments with a variety of materials and techniques, including canvas, steel, aluminium, acrylic, lacquer and space itself.
The exhibition IN BLOOM presents large-scale paintings that take their place in the gallery space.
The exhibition is on view until October 29, 2023 🌷

The exhibition runs until 18 October 📅

This time around, Barthélémy Toguo has "created a dream", in which he invites visitors to discover new works, conceived for the exhibition as part of a residency at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, a realm where fish and birds live side by side, made up of paintings and sculptures, an amphora and ceramics in soft, fluid forms.

Until January 7th, 2024, don't miss "Grace Ndiritu Reimagines the FOMU Collection" at Fotomuseum Antwerpen - FOMU
British-Kenyan artist Grace Ndiritu presents a remarkable photographic universe of paintings, textiles, and interior design, inspired by female artists O'Keeffe, Modotti, and Albers. This exhibition represents a radical and holistic reinterpretation of classic collection exhibitions.
Ndiritu's art practice explores the fast-changing world we live in. She sees shamanism as a way to revive "the dying art museum." Through this new exhibition, Ndiritu has created a sanctuary, a space for slowing down and reflecting. She invites you to observe with an open mind, make intuitive connections, and let go of rational thinking. Ndiritu is fascinated by architecture as a form of "spiritual technology," and she has designed a wooden scenography inspired by mid-century Californian homes, modernist museum interiors, and world's fairs. Don't miss this captivating exhibition that challenges the traditional notions of collection displays!

Nino Mier Gallery is happy to present "Seyni Awa Camara: 1990 - 2022," an extraordinary exhibition featuring sculptures by Senegal-based artist Seyni Awa Camara. 🎉 This captivating showcase marks the artist's first exhibition with the gallery and will be on view until June 10, 2023 in New York.
Accompanying the exhibition is a catalogue featuring a thought-provoking essay by esteemed curator, writer, and art historian Eva Barois de Caevel.
's totemic sculptures transport us into a realm of wonder, evoking imagery ranging from bestiaries to motor vehicles and maternity scenes. Influenced by her dreams, Camara uses clay as her medium, infusing it with natural elements and ores before delicately sculpting intricate forms. After the laborious carving process, the sculptures are fired on a wooden pyre and immersed in a liquid derived from putrefied tree pods, resulting in their vibrant colors and textured quality.

Don't miss Inès van den Kieboom's first solo exhibition at Tim Van Laere Gallery in on view until May 20, 2023!
Despite having painted since the 1960s, van den Kieboom has only exhibited her works three times, making this exhibition an extra special opportunity to see her work. Inspired by everyday surroundings, art history, popular culture, and current events, her unique visual language elevates everyday themes to universal truths. Painting from memory allows her room for painterly invention, bringing visual elements and emotions of a particular moment to life in her pieces.
