A little over 2 weeks ago we prepared with our little team Iftar for over 300 guests. 🤲
We composed a very divers buffet with dishes from all over the world.
Some of the dishes were our beloved Pondu, Harira, Meatpie and Samosa’s.

For our starter we decided to go for a light salad of zucchini strings with cucumber and roasted onions, topped with pickled onions and roasted seeds in a sesame and soy dressing.

For our holiday menu we went for the red version of thieb which contains tomato past.
Thieb is rich in vegetables and you can pretty much choose the veggies you want to add.
We chose cabbage, sweet patato, cassava, carrots, eggplant and Okra. The chili is for aroma, our dish is not spicy!

HOLIDAY MENU
For many of us December is the best month of the year for obvious reasons.. We wanted to add to that joy by composing a menu for the holidays.
We’re so happy to introduce you guys to Ceebu Jën, also known as Thieboudienne or just Thieb.
This rice dish originated from Senegal and is rich in vegetables and flavour. Thieb has been the inspiration for various rice dishes across West Africa.
Thieb is traditionally made with fish, but is also delicious with meat. We’re offering a vegan version of Thieb to make sure everyone gets a taste of Senegal’s national dish.
Our starter and dessert will be provided with love by tantine
Our thieb is made by chef Yusuf and tantine Sadjo.

Ntaba is lingala for ‘goat’. Grilled ntaba is a popular snack in Congo, mostly eaten with kwanga.
Our Ntaba is baked in the oven and topped with onion rings.
