The joy of making photos is just something things that makes me happy ❤️ And it doesn’t need a purpose, it’s a true passion, an expression of my love for the simple joys in what may often feel as a fast-lived life.

Making a photograph for me is allowing to be present in that moment and capturing a small part of what I’m experiencing. It’s a kind of way to slow down and to appreciate the moment.

Often times I will snap a photo with my phone and I think this adds interest and depth to the story because it was a real and unscripted, impulsive shot of a fleeting moment in a busy day.

My phone is always me, while my camera is not. So I take what I have with me and turn it into something I want to remember.

Hopefully we’ll be moving into sweather weather very slowly this fall because honestly I’m not yet in the mood for adding layers and boots. I’m happy with the bare legs and nice suède flats. I love indian summer when a trench coat over a tshirt is just enough comfort when you feel a somewhat chilly breeze. Don’t you?
