IMPEL has just released a tender for production of the IMPEL Training Box (ITB). The ITB aims to educate and engage participants on environmental laws and practices through an interactive set of questions and answers and requires the development and production of educational board game materials. The Training Box will serve as an educational tool to enhance understanding of European environmental legislation and promote environmental awareness.

The LIFE SWEAP project has launched its third and last survey aiming to assess the assistance industry may need to ensure their waste shipments are legally compliant. IMPEL Action Plan Against Wildlife Trafficking meeting and Joint Inspection took place, in Lisbon, On 11 and 12 January 2024. 15 representatives from 7 countries (Portugal, Albania, Czech Republic, Romania, Malta, Kosovo, and Lithuania) and a representative from Europol, attended the meeting and joint inspection hosted by the National Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), CITES management authority and also nature conservation authority in Portugal.
