Day 6: Scout theme and closing ceremony ✨

We hiked through the stunning Masserberg Mountains, embracing the spirit of adventure and camaraderie that Scout life teaches us. As the sun set on our incredible journey together, we gathered for a heartfelt closing ceremony, proudly wearing our Scout uniforms. The bonds we’ve formed, the lessons we’ve learned, and the memories we’ve created will forever be etched in our hearts. Thank you to our amazing team and everyone who made this camp unforgettable. Until we meet again, keep the Scout spirit alive! 🌲✨

Day 5: Zara shared her incredible story of hitchhiking solo from Argentina to Alaska—a true tale of courage and adventure! 🌎 As the night fell, we gathered under the stars for an unforgettable astronomy session, exploring the wonders of the universe. ✨

Day 4: Pool Day 💦

Today, we took a break from the challenges and dove into some well-deserved relaxation. We spent the day by the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the water. The day ended perfectly with a stunning sunset view—couldn’t have asked for a better way to recharge! ☀️

Day 3: Survival Challenge

Today kicked off with lessons on International Sign Language and safeguarding. Then, we jumped into thrilling survival challenges, working in teams to overcome obstacles. The evening was filled with fun EUDY games, keeping the energy high and the smiles wide!

Day 2: A Day of Learning and Culture at EUDY Children Camp

Today was full of fun and meaningful activities! 🌟 We started the morning by teaching everyone International Sign Language, followed by a session on safeguarding to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all. In the afternoon, we took a trip to Auenland, where we enjoyed some exciting and adventurous outdoor fun. 🌳🎉 To wrap up the day, we hosted a Culture Night that was an absolute blast! 🌍✨ Everyone shared a piece of their heritage, making it a night to remember.

Day 1: Arrivals

The camp is officially underway! All 47 participants, along with 17 leaders, 10 volunteers, 10 OC Team members, 4 Safeguarding team members, 2 interpreters and the EUDY representatives, have safely arrived at the campsite in Masserberg. ⛰️🏕️ We kicked off the adventure with an opening ceremony and some icebreaker games to help everyone get to know each other. We’re all set and excited for what tomorrow has in store!

As the 2024 European elections on 6-9 June approach, we asked what our EUDY President, Lydia Gratis, wants to share with our deaf youth. Here's what she says:

"We've been witnessing the world changing continuously. Sometimes, you might feel powerless and think you can't make a difference. But it's important to remember that change happens step by step. Everyone plays a part in making the world better together. Using your vote is important!"
