Collaboration between cities, audiences, artists, and other stakeholders, based on a joint action plan and a shared set of values, is essential. Festivals and cities need to connect to give their communities a temper, a spirit, a face, a soul.
The 'Festival Cities Initiative' has been at the heart of our mission since 2018. We have been spotlighting those cities and regions that truly support their festival ecosystems. In 2022, this initiative evolved into the EFFE Seal for Festival Cities and Regions 🏅
