Maïté Meeûs is a feminist activist, public speaker and founder of and the non-profit . She advocates for women’s rights and uses her voice to defend survivors of sexual violence. In 2022, she won the Amnesty Youth Prize for Human Rights. She also organizes talks with socially commited personnalities in order to shed light on some crucial contemporary issues.

Meet Pierre, a 21-year-old passionate photographer who started his journey at 14. During his high school years in Saigon - Vietnam, he worked as the head of the creative department for many youth-led organisations. In Belgium, he is the key collaborator with many organizations in Brussels.

Through his lens, Pierre transforms fleeting moments into timeless narratives, infusing each image with emotion and depth. His work speaks volumes, reflecting a profound understanding of the craft and an innate ability to capture the beauty in every scene. With a passion for visual storytelling, Pierre invites you to explore the world through his eyes and experience the magic of photography that helped him overcome his mental struggles.

Pierre’s works over the years will be exhibited at the venue. Feel free to check them out!

Adélaïde Charlier is a Belgian activist who fights for climate and social justice. She co-founded the .for.climate movement in Belgium. She is mainly known for her efforts in the fight against climate change. Inspired by the actions of Greta Thunberg, she is, together with Kyra Gantois and Anuna De Wever, one of the figureheads of the first climate strikes in Belgium.

Christina is a Belgian based illustrator and comic artist. Some of her reoccurring themes include equality and human rights but also the little, mundane things in life. In 2023, she published her debut graphic novel called ‘Araya’, based on her mixed Thai roots. In May 2024, she’ll be publishing a Thai comic cook book. She enjoys cooking and weightlifting in her free time. 

She will be at VOX, on the 8th of May, to talk about women’s right 💜
