We want to share that following today's meeting with Viernulvier, we are excited to announce our temporary occupancy of their artist residency space on the 3rd floor. This will be our home for the upcoming month (with a possibility of extension) Our daily activities will commence from 5 to 9 pm, excluding weekends, starting tomorrow. A heartfelt thank you for your unwavering support, and we look forward to meeting you there!

Arca theatre Ghent provides a hearing & healing space where we are having a series of encounter & exchange sessions in solidarity with the Palestinian people, artists and cultural workers and students in the City of Ghent.

Images of our first embroidery evening with Manoeuvre. We started by embroidering the names of family members of people who founded this group. So that we would never forget them.

We are open again tonight from 6pm.

You can come and continue embroidering the names of the victims.
You can watch a documentary about Gaza and talk about Gaza with us.
Or you can just come and have coffee or tea (for free), talk or just be.

Today, as cultural organizers and storytellers, our role is more crucial than ever.

Any medium of the arts serves as a mirror to society, allowing us to see ourselves, and reflect on our struggles.

By engaging with politics, artists can shed light on injustices, and be an advocate for marginalized communities, and critique established power structures.

It provides a platform for voices that may otherwise go unheard.

Big thanks to the incredible musicians, compassionate souls who joined, and our dedicated volunteers.

Together, we raised 3000 Euros for Doctors Without Borders.

We will continue to be loud until justice is served.

Policing a festival is no picnic, so one month ago Splinter presented a unique installation for

In an ideal world the police should relax and enjoy with the people, so & created officers that showed just that, in the idea of narrowing the gap between law enforcement and the public.

They were present in the park for your entertainment, keeping the festival goers company while they rest, talk and drink. As the public changes from day to night so did the interaction with the sculptures but they never judged the excesses of the people around them.

In a few days they became the most photographed art work of the festival, always willing to pose for a selfie, children loved them while adults could be playful in a very different way.

Unfortunately they didn’t last the full 10 days of the festival as not everyone had the best intentions with the officers. We are glad no real police were hurt as our deputies took the bullet for them.

They live on in the hearts and minds of the people who encountered them.

We would like to thank for funding the project, for the trust, .se for documenting the installation and for the security and safety assessment!
