Hey everyone!
After a few weeks of silence and a lot of organisational work from our side we are finally able to tell everyone about the outcome of the charity event.
Yesterday, we made our biggest transfer to Voices of Children yet. With your help we were able to transfer 1015 euros to them 💙💛 Thank you LOKO for sponsoring us! 🎊🖤
We want to especially thank our 4 musical acts who were willing to play during this event entirely for free: Lord Nonsense and his antics The Scabby Knees The Endless Dreaming, Seven Page Skripture
You guys did amazing even with the change in the programme, thank you so much we couldn't have done it without you 🥰💙💛
A huge thanks also goes to every volunteer that stepped up and was so happy to help. And lastly, and most importantly, we want to thank everyone for coming to the event. Of course none of this would have been possible without the audience and the generosity that they have all shown!
We are now back to planning new events and will keep you guys posted about those as soon as we have news about that.

On October 7th, we will be holding a benefit concert at hal 5 🎸.
Don't miss it! We will be having some great acts, drinks and snacks. The entry is for free but donations are encouraged and will go towards the Voices of Children charity organisation 💙💛 doors are at 6 and we will be starting our first act soon after.

Thanks to our wonderful Pangaea KU Leuven, we were able to donate 300 euros more to the Голоси дітей charity!

The funds from our Bake Sale (+ transaction costs) finally transferred to the Голоси дітей charity!

We are happy to let you know that we have sent our first transport of humanitarian aid items to the Ukrainian House in Leuven on March 31st. Thank you to everyone who donated!
Our collection point is still open during the Spring Break and from now on we also accept clothes (!). Hope to see you at Pangaea 💙💛

We are happy to announce that we made 325.4 € in the bake sale today! All donations will go to the Голоси дітей in a next week’s’ transfer. We thank everyone who attended and everyone who cooked.
Remaining food was brought to the shelter for Ukrainian refugees organized by the city of Leuven 💙💛

We are happy to announce that we have raised 150 euros and made our first transfer to Голоси дітей (Voices of Children)! Thank you to everyone who donated! We will continue to raise money at our collection point and during our future events.

Support Ukraine screening of “Trenches” on 27th of March | 'Trenches' toont hoe in Oekraïne de Russische agressie in 2014 begon in het oosten van het land. Ervaren oorlogsjournalist en fotograaf Loup Bureau documenteerde maandenlang het leven in de Oekraïense loopgraven op slechts enkele kilometers van de vijand.

De documentaire toont een hedendaagse realiteit voor Oekraïense vrijheidsstrijders en de oorlogsgebeurtenissen die op 24 februari overgingen naar een grootschalige invasie van Oekraïne door Rusland.

DOCVILLE en DocNomads doneren de opbrengst van de vertoning van 'Trenches' op zondag 27/3 aan The Voices of Children, een organisatie die kinderen evacueert uit de gevaarlijkste regio's van Oekraïne en hen psychologische ondersteuning biedt.

The city of Leuven is currently looking for students that would like to take the night shifts at one of their two shelters for Ukrainian refugees.
The first one opened the 21rst of March in Kessel-lo and a second one will open on the 28th of March in Heverlee.

It's been almost two weeks since our collection point opened at Pangaea KU Leuven! Thank you so much to everyone that has donated items or has reached out to us to learn more about our organization 💙💛

We have decided to also have a money donation box at our collection point and in all of our upcoming events for anyone that wants to contribute that way.

All proceedings will go the humanitarian organization Голоси дітей that provides the psychological and psychosocial support children affected by war need in order to cope with the situation. They have been providing psychological assistance to children and families affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine as well as assisting in the evacuation process.

What's on?

The community at KU Leuven is characterized by its solidarity and unity. We have among us students and staff coming from the affected region, and who have family and friends there or joining them here. For these reasons we have decided to create this student association which will focus on providing help for Ukrainians, or anyone affected by the recent events, in Leuven but also in Ukraine and the border.
