We're thrilled to announce an exciting Little Mermaid themed day where children will learn about ocean, sea animals,beach,what they eat, and ocean songs and We'll also engage in creative arts and crafts, dance to sea songs, play fun games, paint with seashells and even enjoy little mermaid Disney movie at *Miraya Academy* .

*Meet Ms. Miraya, Founder of Miraya Academy*

The inspiration for Miraya Academy traces back to the Kidz Fun Times Club, founded by Mrs. Asha Varma in 2010. Mrs. Asha's passion for education and teaching children laid the foundation for the Academy. Well-known and respected among expatriates in Bahrain, Mrs. Asha's compassion and care for children like her own inspired Miraya to establish Miraya Academy with her support.

"I am an artist, writing my own songs professionally, and dabbling in acting and modeling. For me, it’s much more than being part of the entertainment industry—it's been a lifelong dream since before I could walk or talk.

Growing up in the 90s and 00's as a child from a South Asian Arab background originally, my dreams were not well-received. The expectation was to become a doctor or an engineer, with any deviation considered a path to failure. This didn’t make sense to me; why was sharing God’s gift with the world seen as wrong? Fortunately, my family supported me, and their encouragement is why I stand here today with my accomplishments.

Not everyone had that support. Many of my peers had their dreams crushed and had to bury their passions and ambitions. I am proud to have millions hear my music and thousands of stage performances since I was three.None of this would have been possible without my family's support.

This support system is what I aim to provide at Miraya Academy—a safe place where children can have a voice, are encouraged to dream, and are supported in both academic and artistic pursuits. We want our students to be happy and safe, as their well-being is our priority.

This is what Miraya Academy is all about, and I am thrilled to share this journey with our students and community."We don’t just care about their time at the Academy; we’re committed to their well-being and success even 20 years down the road. What they learn here reflects our dedication to their future.
