ثمنت الجامعة الأوروبية في البحرين المقال الذي صدر من جامعة لندن مؤخراً و الذي سلط الضوء على الرحلة الملهمة والإرث الدائم لمؤسسها الراحل الدكتور أحمد الجناحي. و كان الراحل أول مؤسس بحريني لمؤسسة تعليم عالي يبني شراكة مع الجامعة العريقة التي تخرج منها حيث ألهمته الدراسة في جامعة لندن بفكرة توفير تعليم عالي الجودة ومن مؤسسة مرموقه لأبناء مملكة البحرين والمنطقة دون تكبد عناء السفر والغربة.

بدأ الدكتور أحمد الجناحي رحلته التعليمية الطويلة متخصصاً في الهندسة المدنية، ثم انتقل إلى قطاع الخدمات المالية حيث وجد شغفه الحقيقي الذي خلق نجاحه الكبير. وقد تنوعت مسيرته المهنية البارزة ليس في البحرين فحسب بل أمتدت لمنطقة الخليج العربي وشمال أفريقيا حيث شملت تأسيس بنوك عدة وشركات تأمين ومؤسسات إستثمارية. كما تنوعت مسيرته التعليمية الزاخرة بتخصصات مختلفة فبعد حصوله على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية، دخل عالم الإقتصاد والمؤسسات المالية وأكمل دراسته للحصول على الماجستير في إدارة المشاريع، وبعدها على الماجستير في إدارة الأعمال، ومن ثم أكمل دراسته في مجال الإدارة والتخطيط الإستراتيجي وحصل على الدكتوراة في الإدارة الاستراتيجية.

إن تنوع خبراته العملية والأكاديمية كانت محورية في توسيع آفاقه وإثراء رحلة نجاحه الطويلة والحافلة.

وعلى الرغم من نجاحات الدكتور أحمد المهنية الكبيرة إلا أن رحلته التعليمية لم تتوقف أبداً، فبعد الدكتوراة في الادارة، حصل الدكتور الجناحي على درجة الماجستير في القانون الدولي العام من جامعة لندن مرسخا مثالا يقتدى به للإستمرار بالتعلم دون توقف. هذا الإنجاز الأكاديمي، بالإضافة إلى مسيرته المهنية الواسعة في القطاع المصرفي والمالي في مجال البنوك والتأمين والإستثمار والتمويل، مهد الطريق لتعاون رائد بين الجامعة الأوروبية في البحرين وجامعة لندن العريقة في المملكة المتحدة.

Last week, His Excellency Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa; Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom met with representatives from Euro University of Bahrain at the Bahraini Embassy in the UK, including the President of the University, Professor Andrew Nix; Chief Operating Officer, Salman Aljanahi; and Director of International Programmes, Simon Cleary. The discussion focused on our strategic collaboration with the University of London, aimed at providing world-class European education to significantly enhance the educational landscape in Bahrain and the broader region. This collaboration prepares our graduates for impactful careers, fostering local and regional economic growth.
